IT IS PROVIDED IN THE PREAMBLE OF GHANA 1992 CONSTITUTION, AMONGST OTHERS, THAT "THE PRINCIPLE THAT ALL POWERS OF GOVERNMENT SPRING OUT OF THE SOVEREIGN WILL OF THE PEOPLE THROUGH UNIVERSAL ADULT SUFFERAGE".
THAT IF JUSTICE IS "FAIRNESS" THEN WHAT IS JUSTICE TO ANNUL 4.6 MILLION VOTES WHEN THE VOTERS THEMSELVES HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY WRONG DOING AS POSTULATED BY THE 2ND PETITIONER DR.BAWUMIA IN HIS PROVERBIAL TESTIMONY BEFORE THE COURT THAT "YOU AND I WERE NOT THERE BUT JUST ON THE RECORD OF THE PINK SHEETS AND THAT THEY NEVER ALSO RECEIVED ANY OFFICIAL REPORT OF ANY MALPRACTICE OCCURRING AT THE POLLING STATIONS? THAT IS IT FAIR TO ANNUL THE INNOCENT VOTERS WHO HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY WRONG VOTES?"
WOULD IT SEEM FAIR TO ANY REASONABLE PERSON OR PERSONS WHO WOULD HOLD THAT REASONING? THAT TO PURPORT TO DO THAT JUST BECAUSE OF MERE CLERICAL ERRORS WHICH THE PETITIONERS THEMSELVES ALSO COMMITTED THAT EVEN MADE THE 2ND PETITIONER DR.BAWUMIA TO TELL THE COURT THAT "EVERYBODY OR ANYBODY CAN ALSO MAKE MISTAKES AND SUCH MISTAKES THEY THEMSELVES ALSO MADE SHOULD NOT BE USED TO AFFECT SOMEBODY "PRESIDENCY".
THAT THE ABOVE RELATED TESTIMONIES ARE ON THE RECORDS AT THE COURT AND IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE THEN IF ANYONE SHOULD HOLD CONTRARY THEN THE ONE CLEARLY HAS CYNICAL MOTIVES.
MOREOVER, THE COURT HAS ONEROUS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT THE "PUBLIC INTEREST" AS OVER-RIDING PRINCIPLE WHEN THE VOTERS THEMSELVES HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY RELATED MALPRACTICES THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE COURT EXCEPT THOSE CASES THAT EC ITSELF DEALT WITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POWERS VESTED IN EC BY THE 1992 CONSTITUTION.
THE ISSUE THEREFORE IS WHAT JUSTICE IS NPP CRYING FOR?
IT IS THEREFORE MY RESPECTFUL SUBMISSION THAT JUSTICE WOULD BE SEEN TO BE DONE IF THOSE VOTERS WHO HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY RELATED MALPRACTICE AT THE POLLING STATIONS VOTES ARE PROTECTED AND DEFENDED AS GENUINE VOTES CAST AND TO CONFIRM SAME.

This is not categorical enough. A much better statement would have been a straight, "NO, there will be no (street) demonstrations". "i don't think..." gives room for some street demonstrations.

In any case, one expects the leadership of the NPP and NDC to make statements urging their supporters not to do anything that will break the peace IMMEDIATELY after the verdict has been pronounced.
