Which of the two events came first.....Mr Awuku's alleged meeting with some UK NPP members AND his alleged making of alleged statements that pose security risks to Ghana??????

The quote above, which is purported to have been made by Mr Awuku's lawyer, has put the leg above the head, I think.

However, he admitted that Awuku was on a private visit to London. Therefore, if Awuku was indeed in London at the same time the said tape was recorded,it is instructive to note that, Awuku definitely would have had a sort of meeting with the NPP goons in London. As a high-ranking apparatchik of the NPP, it would be patently false to suggest that he wont meet with them. He did, as simple as that. No high ranking member of any political party, worth his salt will miss the opportunity of meeting their members (at least executive committee members) when they travel overseas. It is a means of networking and keeping communications lines open, knowing very well that the opinion and financial clout of party followers in the diaspora are essential to the parties' survival.
