I would have liked the GFA boss to have gone further in his statment in assuring the Zambians that they had nothing to fear in KUMASI, and that the security of the team and its supporters would be guaranteed, as we have done for all visiting teams. This is a crucial game and it should be played in an atmosphere devoid of any fear.

I have visited Zambia many times and I was surprised to hear of the mistreatment that Derek Boateng alleged. That is not the Zambia that I know. We will beat Zambia, I have no doubt about that, but we should show our usual Ghanaian hospitality and treat the visiting Zambian side well. Black Stars all the way !!!!

Clearly, all these maneuvres are fear-driven. They fear a clean whitewash in Kumasi. The return of some senior players to beef up the squad is so scaring. I believe they wished they were not born.

Nevertheless, it's all football. It could go either way. Let them come and play. Agoro ne famu!!! Ghana will only do well to play a match of their lives in the field. If they don't win this match, they don't deserve to go to Brazil. That's what we are saying! Zambia has nothing to fear. It's football. I think they fear both on and off the field. A Zambian colleague told me the other day that when they went to Uganda, they were afraid the same way but after the game (which Zambians won) they were treated so well they were very surprised. Ghana should do the same. We should beat them on the field and treat them well (off the field) so that they will remember their trip to our Garden City. Let's assure them they have nothing to fear, and that their mind games will not work, we are better suited, phsycologically, to overcome that.

Other Ghanaian players are being cheered as they pass to the derssing room. AS I said I have no idea what infuriated Derek for him to react the way he did. The video viewed objectively does not show the Zambiab Police manhandling Derek Boateng. No wonder he is not in this squad.
