Based on what I followed keenly and understood from the court proceedings, I strongly believe that the election verdict was stolen in favor of President Mahama.
However, sometimes Kings and Head of a Family pass judgement in favor of peace. It is so in many instances when head of a Family or a King pass judgement when the whole truth is understood, yet could break a family which may invole destabilising a family that involves children. The King or the Head of a Family will pronounce and say "..... I therefore put my big feet on this case. All parties must forgive and move on as a family....."
In this case, the truth has been revealed to all in the Highest Court. Unless one hear the case with bias intentions, the Presidency was cooked to favor President Mahama. But. I repeat, but, allowing President Mahama to finish his term prevails PEACE. If the Highest Courts decision had gone in favor of the Petitioners, I will bet you some Ghanain lives could have been lost. The country would have been thrown in despair and great unpredicted uncertainty.
The Supreme Court has acted in my strongest opinion, to allow Peace prevail.
My big question to Ghana is, what can we learn from this to prevail a repeat? Corruption is eating the progress of Ghana dead.
President Mahama has proven so far to be clueless as to where to lead our nation to prosperity. His appointees to leading positions has proven to be unqualified and clueless.
It is of my strong opinion that both NDC and NPP are corrupt and greedy to the tip. But I favor NPP to handle Ghana economy better than NDC. Just consider that during Rawlings Presidency, the Cedi against the dollar was almost 2cedis to $1. When NPP took over led by Kuffuo, the cedi held up at 1.5cedis to $1. Have you checked the dollar rate under Mills and Mahama's Presidency? The dollar rate is back to 1.98 cedis to $1.
If you are a concern Ghanaian and understand what this mean to Ghana's economy, you will not hail for NDC rule. Ghana is a county that that imports 90 percent of our consumed goods.
NDC, NPP are both corrupt and greedy. They are both "chop, chop", but NPP handles our economy better for prosperity. Only a fool will defiant his fact.
The highest court has done Ghana a favor for the sake of Peace!!

EC didnt do their work well and we all know that, but that can change the election.
Let John Mahama now form his government and we wait a see whether he can do something better than what he is doing now.

Akufo-Addo is a qualitative material, a born leader, bold, brave, a thinker and would have used Ghana's Oil Money to develop the nation.

He has never been accused of any financial embezzlement in our country and the 'thieves in Ghana' shiver to think of him as the head of state in Ghana. They were afraid he would have questioned the 'Wayome' fraud. The alleged $170M fraud money tucked in the Swiss Bank for a well known person in Ghana.

Some even feared he might have resurrected the murders of the 3 Judges and brought the culprits to book. But Akufo Addo is a peaceful man who would have concentrated on the future development of Ghana, rather than the murky past of the nation.

He fought and lost, may God grant him good health and peace of mind.

I don't think any single person in Ghana applauded or cheered after he read his speech. I wonder if he wrote the speech himself or it was written by an alien!!!

Read Akufo Addo's speech, and you will notice the difference between the TWO men. One is qualitative and the other is just trying.

President Mahama is too busy trying to fix the nation and would not have all the time in the world to write good speeches. Let the greedy bastards and the babies with sharp teeth find him good speech writers.

Finally, we should pray not only for Preesident Mahama to be blessed with the wisdom and discernment to lead the country progressively but also that we all have the grace to work for the common good.

When the full decision comes out, let's be circumspect in our comments. If we should have any grounds to criticize any aspects of the decisions of the individual justices, let all our criticisms be objective and constructive, hammering on what unite us and ignoring things that foster hatred and antagonism.

Today is, indeed, a great day for our country, a day to be proud of! Let's capitalize on it and move forward.

For us the most important is not the words but the actions. Let's wait and see how greatly Nana will contribute in the development of our motherland Ghana.
Nana does not agree with the court's ruling but he accepts. Does he have another choice? If he does not comply with the verdict he will face trial and if his supporters demonstrate they will face the law of the nation. indeed they are cowards.
Nana should retire from now and give a chance to others also to lead the party and contest the 2016 presidential elections. Let NPP position a northener as their presidential candidate in 2016 just like the NDC did it and we will see if NPP is really an ethno-tribalistic party or not. With Nana Akufo-Addo they will never win elections any more. Write it somewhere in your diaries.

"Worthy opposition" are Nana Addo's own words and I do hope this means constructiveness and not obstructiveness. Ghana unlike the United States does not have the luxury of a thriving sound economy and any opposition should be geared towards constructive resolution of problems rather than a stance on political dogma which does not advance any worthy cause. We have already wasted 8 months impeding the advancement of our country...now is time for both the opposition and the NDC to resolve to work together to deliver on the promise of a better life for our countrymen while still preparing for future elections. Nana Addo might have saved us the sweat because I believe even before going to court, he knew what the judgment would be but on the matter of principle of reforming the electoral system of our country from within the legal framework he would be remembered for the work he and his team has put in. Kudos on that and also a pat on the shoulder for accepting the final judgment. As he goes to reflect and reminisce this outcome I urge him to spend some time thinking about how he can move his party from that image of being an "Akan Party" to one of a more nationally integrated party whose interests reflects the general aspirations and interests of all Ghanaians and more particularly, how he can work with his party to tone down the perceived "superiority complex" which most of its leaders and Akan members continually express in their speeches and statements. Ghana is for all Ghanaian and not single group is superior to the other. If we will only drop all our tribal labels and start thinking of ourselves as one people, our hopes for the future will no longer be held hostage by a few who continually exploit the tribal card to win elections. Nana deserves to be the president of our country but unfurtunately he has once again been denied of this high office of the nation, but I write to congratulate him for the yeomans work he and his team have done to conscientice Ghanaians at least,to know their rights when one is denied of justice.I assure him by quoting the Apostel Peter in his emboldenment speech to support Jesus,sressurrection and said,the stone which the builders threw away is the same stone which they used as the corner stone of the building,and it is also said in the corinthians correspondence that,all things work together for good to those who love God, and to those who are called according to his purpose.Nana the whole Nation and the world have realised that you are one of an astute polititians in the world more so, as your action did not put your father and some of your unknown suporters like us into disrepute when the verdict by the supreme court was handed out.The future will tell,accept my congratulation.
