  It was such a big shame when President Mahama succumbed to Ivorian demands for the deportation of Ivorian refugees without due process only for them to be killed! That was barbarity at its highest level!
  
  I congratulate the decision of the court. Ghana has once more proved that it is a country that we can all be proud of!
  
  Long live Ghana!

  go through the case again, if he is dangerous fugitive without any political motivation ,please send him back to face charges in ivory coast,we are tired of african fraud and corruption in that continent.

  This is a complete interference by Ivory Coast in Ghana's judicial system.In fact they are putting pressure on us to do the wrong thing.They have already succeeded with their blackmail by compelling us to send some refugees to them which even France and human rights organizations claim were being subjected to torture in Ivory Coast prisons.
  
  In the first place as refugees they are suppose to be beyond the jurisdiction that have escaped from.Secondary under the Geneva Convention of which we are signatories,we are under obligation under that convention not to send back people who have fled their country because of the fear of their lives or are in danger of being subjected to torture and inhuman and degrading conditions.This is exactly what the UN had accused the Ivory Coast of.The Butcher of Abidjan as Quattara has been nick named because of the way he treated his opponents during the war and after can not relie on us to feed his brutalities.
  
  The convention which we signed and which we are obligated to must be respected.Bilateral arrangements to do otherwise will be in breach of our obligations and international law since these are jus cogen or peremptory norms which we can not derogate from and therefore binding on all.Our friendly relation with Quattara notwithstanding.
  
  I have to congratulate the magistrate for upholding the norms of international law.The higher courts must take note if the Quattara government appeals against the decision.We can not be complicit to Quattara's thirst for blood
