You people chose to go to court and going to any court that applies the western imperialist rules and regulations is like choosing heads or tails and throwing a coin to decide who will win. Period! They can spin all the academic and intellectual hogwash around the subject of law but it will not wash until the day when the 15% Black population of America represent 80% of inmates in American jails. It will not wash for me until the day when people like George Bush, Barrack Obama, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Francois Mitterand, Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and others instead of small time African criminals, are also hauled before the International Criminal Court for their abominable crimes against humanity.

What does NPP hope to gain from the findings of this committee? Seriously – so NPP can plan future petitions better? Or is it for the committee to advise NPP that they should not have petitioned?
NPP does not need a committee to tell them that they NPP should have asked for cancellation and re-run but not annulment and apportionment of votes in a way that results in Nana winning the election. No sane judge would grant you this. Also NPP should have taken the time to assess all polling stations and not only present evidence on only locations where Mahama won. That would make it appear that the petition was in good faith.

Otherwise, why the setting up of a committee again and don't these NPP guys have a work to do for Ghana than politics for politics? NPP will never give up. Right from the beginning, this atuguba man had a sly grin on his face and I just knew he was up to something wicked and also his close relative is an executive officer to Mahama. My idea of a good judge is one who puts honesty, integrity, transparency and true love of Ghana above fear (threats, intimidation) and hefty amounts of money or other gain. A day will come when the whole truth will be revealed.
This sort of thing is becoming an "African speciality»; BEFORE IT WAS A QUESTION OF DICTATORS, ONE-PARTY STATES, NOW THE LATEST TRICK IS RIGGED ELECTIONS, AND WHEN THAT IS QUESTIONNED BY A COURT CASE, DUBIOUS BIAISED VERDICTS. Strangely on this occasion NPP never raised their voices. NPP should know Ghana does not belong to NPP or any particular tribe in Ghana, and NEVER WILL and they are not destined to be rulers of Ghana at all cost; every Ghanaian regardless of its political aspirations, ethnicity, educational status and creed stands a chance of becoming President in Ghana one day. The earlier they get this idea in their heads the better for a United Ghana and for their beleaguered party.

Any good lawyer will tell you NPP had no case. Even REUTERS said Mahama was going to win. Sir John is a disgrace to the Ghana Bar Association. Any NPP activist could easily give his ballot from Kumasi or Aburi to be used together by another NPP fan registered in Odododiodoo so as to attain a situation of more ballots in the box than the number verified biometrically and then the claim over vote in court. Also an NPP agent acting as a Presiding Officer can secretly allow presidential ballots to be contaminated by parliamentary ballots even by a single vote or two and claim ignorance so as to take advantage of the situation and cancel results of the areas Mahama won. This is possible so how can NPP prove that the over voting was done with the knowledge of the NDC or EC or both? On this line of defence by an attorney honest judges will have no option than to truthfully arrive at 9-0. On the issue of signatures of Presiding Officers not being on the Pink Sheets it should again be 9-0 because Bawumiah was made to read five times in court about the EC law which states that votes cannot be invalidated if a presiding officer does not sign and all other party agents have signed. On Voting without biometric Verification it should also be 9-0 as NPP could not bring any hard evidence of someone who voted without being verified biometrically. They could not even produce anyone of that nature in their affidavit. Ghost polling stations should be 9-0 because the pink sheets of those stations had signatures of NPP agents and above all a letter to the EC from NPP informing them of an agent who will be manning one of those ghost stations. Initially NPP claimed the letter was forged because it was written on the 5th but received on the 3rd of the same month. However it was shown the letter was post-dated and a circumstance which can happen just like a post-dated cheque.
With the pink sheets, the EC is the author and reserves the right to interpret so the EC is the determining factor here and like they said "Codes and not serial numbers were used". The judges proved why some areas had the same codes as they were small and neighbours. Again 9-0 is the right answer. Now with duplicate serial numbers on Pink sheets it should be 9-0 as the serial numbers were from the Printing Press outside Ghana and had nothing to do with areas therefore no rigging or fraud. If a ten cedi note and a fifty cedi note have the same serial number it does not mean they are both of the same value or the ten cedi can be exchanged for fifty. The serial numbers do not come into play here, it is the 10 and the 50 which are printed on the notes that help identify the note and not the serial numbers therefore the identifier in that group called money is the monetary value and not the serial numbers. VERDICT is therefore 9-0 on all aspects. Sir John even if your parents ate worms to give birth to you, you should still be clever as worms contain a lot of proteins. YOU ALL NEED THE FREE SHS AS EDUCATED FOOLS. IT IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT MAKE MILITARY COUPS HAPPEN SO THAT A FEW SLAPS WILL BRING YOUR SENSES AND GUMPTIONS BACK TO LIFE!!! Even the illiterates you were inciting to war will understand this. You are a waste of Ghana's tax payers’ money. Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of Asogli, on Tuesday, appealed to parties in the 2012 election petition case to announce their acceptance of the Supreme Court verdict within 30 minutes after the ruling.

He said such a pronouncement would avert chaos and demonstrate the parties' commitment to peace in the country. Togbe Afede, President of the Volta Region House of Chiefs, said this at the third general meeting of the House in Ho.

He said the peace of the country was non-negotiable and urged the citizenry to accept the ruling of the Supreme Court.

“It is sad that everyone is calling and praying for peace. It is so sad that even the US is advising its citizens...but we must know that the peace of this country is non-negotiable,” Togbe Afede said. He said the country should be able to go through elections without fear and must not allow the ambitions of a few politicians to disturb the nation.

Togbe Afede said throughout his travels, he noted that investors preferred Ghana to other countries because of the country’s peaceful nature and urged the citizenry to uphold this value.

He appealed to chiefs to talk to the youth to be peaceful.

Togbe Afede said the Volta Regional House of Chiefs would settle all 29 cases before it by the end of 2014, to ensure peace in the region and the country.

Dr. Henry Seidu Daanaa, Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs now on a week’s working tour of the region, appealed to the Volta Regional House of Chiefs to resolve disputes in Anlo, Peki and Akpini.

He reiterated the importance of chieftaincy in the socio-economic development of the country and said the Ministry was addressing issues of membership and jurisdiction of chiefs. The House presented some gifts to Dr. Daanaa, who is billed to visit Ve, Gbi, Anfoega, Tapa , Aflao and Klikor Traditional Areas.

The Judges,having followed the whole case, decided in their own wisdom not to follow your parallel argument,thus your case was thrown into the garbage of history.Since the 2012 election is not the last election to be held in Ghana,the rational thing most people expect you to do is to start preparations towards the next election.But what are we hearing? the wise counselors in the NPP have decided a committee be set up to find out why the ruling went against the party.I for one,think this is a clueless decision which should be abandoned for the good of the party.

It is now certain that NPP is a party which will never accept election result which does not favour them without any dispute.This attitude and posture of the NPP could pose a danger to our democracy.

3. After that you accused the national peace council as siding with NDC.
4. You called for KPMG to vet pink sheets and when it did not go your way, you said KPMG was incompetent
5. You said you had faith in the SC and that is why you sent the case there and now that you have lost, you are turning round to accuse the SC of having been bribed by NDC.

When things do not go well for NPP, then there must have been a bribe. Very soon you will accuse Ghanaians of having been bribed by NDC and that is why we voted for NDC.

There is no appeal here even if the NPP national committee or council of elders decide after their assessment that, the SC erred in the August 29, ruling. Who is going to hear their case besides the SC.

its high time for npp to realize that Ghana is for ghanians not for npp they shdnt take it that if not npp no one can rule better. I not be surprise if they end up blaiming god for not been fair to them.

Is there justice in the land? You can bribe the E.C. and the judges but you cannot bribe nature. Bribe death when your time is due. God bless Nana Addo and the NPP.
