Ghana's Cedi is pathetically like an ordinary toilet paper. No value and no wonder we are the 5th worst currency in Africa and the number one within the ECOWAS states.

The question the Government should answer is does America trade with Cedis? Does the Government pay workers with Dollars. Ghana is a civilized country since from generation until we started trading with dollars. This government is very lucky, we have gold, cocoa, diamond and oil. Is the dollar the same value as cedis. If not then why should the government sit down unconcerned without thinking about the people who cannot afford the exchange rate to buy what they need. Please stop trading with dollars and promote our currency to become popular in Africa and Europe as a whole. Ghana is civilized country
