  I believe this is good sign of many things to happen,now that the government has the peace of mind after the supreme court judgement.

  It is good that public sector workers on SSSS are have a base pay increase of 10%. This is going to take effct beginning September 2013, with areas for the 8 preceding months to be discussed in a joint meeting. Why do you have to arrange for another meeting to discuss time line for payment of areas? Is it that members of the meeting can receive another bunch of sitting allowances? And why should the base pay increase be fixed this late in the year? Couldn't we have done this earlier? Can we move away from this old way of increasing base pays when the year is about ending? Can we do things right and better?

  we are pleading with the gov. to please pay all the arrears in full and at once since some of we the junior stuff have a very low salary income therefore when splited we will be affected.

  We've been waiting for this for long, since u've come out with it then it's a 10% plus to ur better GH.But my concern is on those being payed under the SALARY ADJUSTMENT SCHEME e.g. (Ghana Armed Forces )....I would like to know if they've(MOD) also been affected under their payment scheme...and moreover the arrears should be paid in full and at once quickly NOT installments....> Mr President, ensure !!!>
