I totally support Mr Jumah's suggestion. However, I think NPP should not commit the same mistake we did in 2008 when we pushed aside Alhaji Aliu Mahama and selected Nana Akufo-Addo, which has caused us two election defeats especially 2012 election which we should have won by about 70 percent due to limited time Mr Mahama had for compaign and serious corruption like the Woyome scandal.

I am Allan Cash supporter but for NPP to win 2016 election, we needs to select Dr Bawumia us our flagbearer with Alan as his running mate. This will stop NPP tagged as an Akan party and win us votes from the other eight regions.

Finally, I will suggest if we select Allan or any other Akan person, we should select Ga or an Ewe as his running mate because it will be an insult to the Northerners if we select someone from the north again.

Let us not play into NDC hands with their propaganda.

Bawumia with Allan as running will best for 2016.

You need to pick someone (likeable) from one of those regions since Ghanaians tend to go for their own tribesmen. Which is a dumb way to vote, but those are the facts on the ground. If NPP is able to win one of the 3 regions mentioned they are likely to win. Learn from NDC, they get someone from the Central region to secure their win, there is no way the NDC would win if they lost the Central Region and that was evident in the previous two tries of Mills when his folks were angry with him.

Those days where we see some section of Ghanaians are "second class" should be a thing of the past because we are one and politics is by the numbers. The more votes you pull, winning comes to you. NPP, forge ahead and let others lead.

Mahama is beatable because his economic policies are destroying the nation and if Bawumia leads, NDC has not message to label NPP as a party for Akans and NDC will find it hard to sell their message.
