During the last year or so its has become clear to almost every child the ethnocentric racist anti Akan vicious propaganda directed mainly against the innocent Ashanti and Akyems .Even here on this forum we witness the daily insults , defamation and systematic character assination of any Akan leader who dares raise his voice to cry foul. The Akans lead by the Fantis are fighting back just as they in the early 90's with prof eduboahen and this happened last year after the murder of Mills. these ewe and northerners think if they bribe a few paramount chiefs and buy off Akuffo Addo as they have done they can go back to the business of looting the coffers but not so . They are overwhelmed by the resistance which is being lead by the family heads and the clans . since most the people here writing under false Akan names dont see the difference continue to harass the ashantis and akyems who by the way rarely ever contribute anything to this forum . this prof awonoor has mislead his people into a war they will surely loose , battle after battle they are pounded and bashed , the sophistication of their devious divide and rule strategy has been exposed and backfired ,today the Akans are more united than ever so much so the the Ashantis and akyems no more participate but are standing on the sidelines watching as they are surprised at the fury and determination of the rest of the Akans to rid themselves of this yoke of oppression. Akans will never peacefully accept to be second class citizens like the Indians in Latin America and fight the hegemony and tribalism with these same tools rather than just brushing it off and pretending it doesn't exist . the battle-lines have been drawn in the minds of every Ghanian and as things escalate the business of governance is slowly grinding to a halt soon from verbal warfare we move to open rejection of the govt of the day which will most likely end up in true war . we can not build and develop a sustainable economy if the ayigbe and pepeni can only be focused on the destruction of the Akans and looting the wealth of the nation , sadly when we say this all they say is that their hate is justified and their time has come to chop some . let it be known Akans make up almost 70% of the population, have 90% of the wealth and natural resources and that this govt that practically has less than 10% Akan participation is illegitimate and even the foreign banks and investors have noticed this and are withdrawing , the rest like the Chinese , Indians , Muslim Lebanese and Turkish will soon risk never being paid . billions have been borrowed but nobody has seen any benefits but it has ended up in the bottomless pits of the greed of the ndc pepeni and ayigbe . we propose secession as a peaceful exit to this mess , if persuasion fails force will be applied , long live the republic of Akan

"Sorry, sir! I can explain, you see I had a date and it ran a little late. I ran to the bus but missed it, I hailed a cab but it broke down, found a farm, bought a horse but it dropped dead, ran 10 miles, and now I'm here."

The General was very skeptical about this explanation but at least he was here so he let the G.I. go. Moments later, eight more G.I.s came up to the general panting, he asked them why they were late.

"Sorry, sir! I had a date and it ran a little late, I ran to the bus but missed it, I hailed a cab but it broke down, found a farm, bought a horse but it dropped dead, ran 10 miles, and now I'm here."

The General eyed them, feeling very skeptical but since he let the first guy go, he let them go, too. A ninth G.I. jogged up to the General, panting heavily.

This case shouldn't have dragged on for this long. 8 solid months wasted out of 4yr term is a long time. Running gov. is not like turning on/off switch of a light. Like Obama said, the steering wheel of gov turns like that of a ship; you'll have spin the wheels over several times to get one turn of the ship. Kwesi Pratt should know that. He can encourage the gov to work harder to patch up/catch up but he can't say time wasted in this trial has not affected economic recovery. That's not a lie. It's important to let the sc and the politicians learn from this so we don't get caught up in this scenario again. Without going into what efforts the gov is making to arrest the economic slow-down, it is very important for the president to re-establish his authority and clamp down on serious corruption everywhere he finds it. Woyomy case should be brought to an end. Our perception about corruption should be turned around. People should actually pay dearly when they get caught in this practice[long prison terms/no pardons].

They have no vision for the nation, they only look after their cronies, they are greedy, arrogant and lack the basic COMMON SENSE (please, not an insult but only an observation) to fix the economy.........................

Both parties always talk about foreign investors and funding from abroad, in order to make a slice of 10% to line up their pockets.

So, my question is when are these lot going to take a leaf out of Nkrumahism and Kutuism (Acheampong's ideals).
They both used and utilized the nation's human and natural resources for the BENEFIT of OUR DEAR NATION.
And, whenever they chose to negotiate with foreigners, they did so to favour us more than the other. That is how human's are required to run their own businesses. So, these two selfless leaders of vision did their BEST for corporate GHANA in that sense.

Pratt that is the kind of leadership we are after.............and I'm sorry to say that, non of the two USELESS parties can ever offer it to Ghanaians. NEVER!

Both of them, apart from being incompetent are also 'puppets' of their colonial masters as their historical backgrounds speaks for itself. If in doubt, check all the other historical records of the UGCC, UP, NLC, PPP, AFRC, PNDC and NDC with so-called leaders like JJ, Kuffour, Atta Mills and Mahama.

It is a real SHAME!

Our country faces very serious fundamental problems which need to be addressed urgently. The electoral dispute has been an unnecessary distraction.

We must stop the foreign domination of our economy. We must halt the introduction of GM trials in our country. We can attain food self-sufficiency without GM technology. Why do we import rice when we can produce all the rice we need in Northern Ghana alone?

We must provide schools for all those children studying under trees and expand the tertiary education provision to deal with this year's double intake.

We must revamp and streamline the National Health Insurance Scheme to cater for the health needs of our people. We need to train more doctors and nurses and other health personnel. We need to rehabilitate our health facilities and build more hospitals and clinics.

We must provide water and electricity and energy for our people.

The railway system must be rehabilitated as a matter of extreme urgency.

Let us put the electoral dispute behind us and forge ahead.
