  No wonder all politicians and rich people fly outside the country for health care. For political correctness and expediency, we have acquiesced to the fact that one herb can cure all diseases. Most of the manufacturers of these herbs do not even know the etiology of the diseases they preach about let alone understand how their herbs will cure those diseases. Some argue that before the western medicine came, our forefathers used herbs. Indeed, they used herbs for the ailments they knew. A lady wanted to sell me a local herbs purportedly used to cure hypertension. I asked if she knew what hypertension was and she answered palpitation of the heart. I walked away only for her to rain "book long" and "skeptic" on me. Tune into any radio station and you will hear claims of herbal wonders. Someone claimed curing diabetes, typhoid, kidney problems and I wonder if there is any regulatory agency monitoring these quack doctors.
  
  In the United States, we have people who pay huge sums of money for informercials but will NEVER claim a cure of any of their homeopathics. This is because the FDA will arrest them for making a claim. Homeopathic drugs are not tested by the FDA and so they cannot make any claim of cure. In Ghana we have medical doctors but are mute when it comes to these quack claims. I pity our society.

They are demonizing healthy natural products to kill the compition.. they dont want people to be healthy there's no money in that
