THE PETITIONERS in their own right should have taken him off the panel. Isnt it ironic that Rawlings appointees: ATUGUBA, GBADEGBE, AKOTO BAMFO, voted deciding that NO VOTER INFRACTIONS TOOK PLACE in the December 2012 election and that the PETITION was without merit?. When Nana Addo took over, a decline set in

NPP votes in Ashanti under Nana are as follows

2008 - 72.5
2008 run off - 74.9
2012 - 70.8% .

In my view, Nana has been costing the NPP in its key region and hence this goes a long way to explain the party's defeat in 2008 and 2012. Thus threats should be ignored and hard facts taken into account

Even if a goat or a pig stands for flagbearer under NPP, just make sure he's an Ashanti or Akyem. Ashanti region will vote for him. Let the pig stand against Jesus Christ from another region, they will vote for the pig because he's Ashanti or Akyem.

Unlike Rawlings, Mills and Mahama who have won elections in all other regions, the Ashanti region will vote only for a certain tribe, regardless. Nana or no Nana, Kumasi will vote.
