The behaviour of the average African from president to the man on the street is to mess up his country by whatever means possible - through stealing, confusion, chaos, lies, defrauding, etc so that he or she can sojourn in a Western or developed country.
This thinking has been confirmed by ATUGUBA and the other judges who left the shores of Ghana immediately after their unobjective verdict, perhaps for fear of any reprisals on them.
Nobody wants to deny them their holidays, but their time is wrong and inappropriate. ATUGUBA during the trial PRETENDED as if he is objective and has integrity through sanctioning and punishing contemnor for no apparent reason through imposed power. BUT ATUGUBA'S BEHAVIOUR SHOWS THAT HE IS NOT ANY BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE HE REPRIMANDED AND PUNISHED. IN FACT ATUGUBA IS EVEN WORSE CONSIDERING THE WAY HE HANDLED THE JUDGEMENT UP TILL TODAY. In a well organised country, this man will be brought to justice himself.
Some of us are beginning to believe that considering ATUGUBA's lack of fluency, coherence and proper control of the English language, his final verdict might have been written by a close confidant in the USA.
I find ATUGUBA's behaviours so far as highly dubious and unprofessional especially when a whole SUPREME COURT JUDGE LIED ABOUT THE READINESS OF THE HARD COPY OF HIS VERDICT. It is only in Ghana can this happen, especially if the "president" is not corrupt himself.

No, I strongly differ with you because not all the Supreme Court Judges based their reasoning and thinking abilities on any laws-Ghana constitution or EC's own by-laws. Most of the SC justices lack commonsense, prudent analyses, dynamism and proactivity and that's why someone like disgraceful Atuguba and others voted on ALL the 9 substantive issues. Are you saying Atuguba based his part of the judgment on law? Which law? Can you quote that law for me and other readers to applaud for you? According to Atuguba, there was nothing wrong in the election and all the 9 issues brought to them were foolish to him. However he astonishingly stated that there should be "electoral reforms" before 2016 election. If nothing went wrong why is he calling for "electoral reforms?" Let me tell you this: Apart form a few wise judges among the 9 judges, the rest are tribal, political and elementary judges. You have to think well and stop your partisanship. Is your own soul happy about this charlatan judgment?

The more important question is why these judges get a 3-month vacation, from August to October? Why are they paid 12 months, but work only 9. No one should have a vacation on the public's back for 3 months. It is a colonial relic, for a time when the English judges had to take a steamboat across the ocean to their homes for vacation. Sadly, there are too many of these relics that our elites have adopted to the detriment of our economic well-being. They are leeches.

How many time had Kronfuor Kufuor stay in Ghana or return form his everyday-'presidential honey moon' via per -diem to listen to what Ghanaians were saying during his period in office. Kronfuor Kufuor was just in and out of Ghana every other 3 days in a week simply enjoying the Ghanaian tax payers money. Even where we were told that he had signed a loan agreement on behalf of Ghana, we never saw the loan instead with Osarfo Maafo and co directed the loan into a 'salon' in London.
Osei Kye Mensah Bonsu, were you in Ghana all this period and if so how many times had you asked Kronfuor Kufuor to return to Ghana to hear the voices and to deal with the appalling social and economic situations that Ghanaians were facing. Secondly, your level of intelligence is so low that you cannot even know that even the messenger or the clerical office or the cleaner is entitled to a holiday, a break at his/her work place. Thirdly, how many times did you ask your colleagues to return to parliament during your boycotts of parliament. Shamefully, you only return to parliament during the breaks for free food and drinks. You are pathetic!!!. Now Ghanaians know those who pay lips service to the fantastic job our Honourable Justices have done. Whether you Osei Kye Mensah Bonsu? like it or not I say to you as a concern Ghanaian that the Justices deserve their breaks many time more than you, a vulture, a political sycophant and parasitic animal. It can be said that, when it mattered most, our most esteemed justices of the SC, chose the path of peace at the expense of the strict interpretation of the law and justice. As to whether such a stance, was beneficial to our democratic process and it's effect on subsequent elections, posterity would be the judge. All the parties involved have grudgingly pledged peace, so Ghana can move on. Is this seeming peace, a true reflection of the current state of affairs or the verdict has effectively, primed the powder keg on which the country sits on? Again, posterity would be the judge.
We applaud the work of our most esteemed justices and respect them for a job well done.

Hon Kyei Mensah-Bonsu is now turning his ire on judges who have done their work and are taken a well-earned rest.

Has he forgotten the independence of the Judiciary? Who is Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, anyway, to tell the SC judges what to do? Why is he casting insinuations and aspersions at Justice Atubuga? Justice Atubuga said that the detailed judgment would be given to the Registry for dissemination; he did not mean that the judgement was ready to be disseminated. In any case, any such document has to be prepared for publication, and that takes time. Remember that the entire judgement runs into 568 pages.

The behaviour of the NPP top brass is helping neither the party nor the nation. This 'skin pain' will not go down well with the electorate. They should stop blaming everybody but themselves for their woes.

8 good months have been wasted on this electoral petition. After boycotting parliament, hurling insults at anyone and everyone, going on meaningless demonstrations and misleading their supporters, the NPP should put this nonsense behind them and move on, otherwise the party risks turning in on itself after it finds no-one outside the party to blame.
