Why would Ampong be singled out for death threats for making comments that several others are making. This guy just doesn't make sense. I think he's trying to sow confusion in the party he claims to love. NPP must watch him.

If you have received threatening messages go to the police and hand over the messages. Numbers are registered in Ghana and can easily be traced through NHIS, passport, voter Id etc. I don't think I will send you text messages before erasing you from the system. I will simply erase you before you even realize it. Stop peddling lies about people trying to erase you. May be you want to erase yourself.

I hope this is not true. It could be a hoax to paint the NPP as a violent Party. The Party leadership owes it to, not only the good name of the Party but also to the Nation and its entire membership, to fully investigate this story and set things straight.

If the story has any truth to it, it could permanently damage the Party's chances of winning the Presidency back. If on the other hand there is absolutely no bases for it, NPP must use the Courts to clear its name and deservingly punish whoever is behind it.

There are some who would want the NPP to wear the dubious reputation of its progenitor UP

There are some who would want the NPP to wear the dubious reputation of its progenitor, the UP, as a violent Party that used to throw bombs to kill innocent folks. And that must not be allowed to happen.

We are in a new era where all deserve a second chance to come to Power. The CPP has its share of brutalities in its old form that existed with UP.

So, we have to be moving away from that mentality of painting contemporary Parties with the dirty used paint of their old forms that existed some 60 years ago.

Long Live Ghana!!!
