If Ampong did not consider the threat as credible, and more importantly imminent, I do not believe he would have gone to the police.

That he does not have confidence in the so-called internal structures is obvious. I cannot help but think he has made a smart choice and a mishap cannot be blamed on some other party.

At the very least, this has earned him police protection.

This is criminal matter and should be handled as such. The police should expose those people immediately and get them to be punished as a deterrent to other big wigs in any party. No coverup please

the IGP must not joke with these bloody people else they are taken by surprise if the complainant is killed. the npp characters like kufour do not forgive anybody who stands in their way. they will deal with you including killing. innocent people like major quarshigah, baah wiredu,madam hawa yakubu to name only a few were made to pay the ultimate price with their lives. remember one guy who was in charge of the sale of confiscated cars under kufour? that man died mysteriously immediately the npp lost in 2008 all because kufour's son used him to seize people's expensive cars at the port and sold to others. if that guy is dead where the evidence against the son of the most wicked and demonic man like deawuo kufour. this man believes in money than anything on earth but is he going to live forever? one day he will pay for his bloody sins.
