NPP should have try to be a good opposition by making Ghana move forward through their opposition. In other words, instead of concentration on their personal and party interest, they should have oppose on certain things that may lead Ghana to fully developed, but they rather want to spoil and damage the country to make it look like the present gov. is bad. We are now in a new generation politics of moving forward back wards never. Since Ghanaians have got to realized, there is no way NPP will have a short at power if they continue to have those primitive way of political understanding of corruption, filling their personal pocket, hate, killing innocent Ghanaians, divisition and application of all evil doings.

Bawumia has no constituency anywhere in Ghana and it will be plain to all the he will be riding on Alan's coat tails to secure victory. Just like Mills was seen as riding on JJ's coat tails.

The NDC will pounce on this and tell Northeners Bawumia is a puppet. They will tell those Ghanaians who want Alan as President that he is being humiliated as a founding member is a running mate to someone who joined the party in 2008

This will put Bawumia on the backfoot. It will be observed that Alan will be the crown puller at rallies an all will play into the argument that Bawumia is not a leader

It took Mills 8 years to shed the tag of being JJ's puppet and even here victory came only because he faced an unelectable Akuffo Addo

I have a feeling Alan will be so angered that he will decline the invitation to be a running mate. This will then ensure Bawumia is left hanging alone, unable to inspire to pull crowds etc and the NDC will win in 2016. Then come 2020, have knocked out Alan the NPP will have no one to challenge NDC.

Bawumia will be seen as a 3 time loser (2008, 2012, 2016) an there will be no one to fill the void the party will have created through its folly

You mean Mahama really knew "several years before" that he was going to become president in 2013 so he actually made NDC enumerate a fraudulent plan to rig the elections?
