First of all the Ghana constitution was written and hijacked by a few vocal people who argued in favour of the incumbent - JJ Rawlings and his people where give ridiculous guarantees.
We surely need to review and change this roadmap, it is blind and biased and skewed to achieve the wrong objectives for Ghana and Ghanaians as a whole.
Afari-dyan must go. He caused the mess which narrowly led Ghana into mayhem, so how can the same person lead changes? If he admitted there is the need for reform, why hasn't done it by now?

Our SC decision cant be overturn by any judges or any group of people. When the SC decides nothing can change its decision until God comes down.
Those who dont know our SC when it say something something, that thing can never be change like swearing in John Mahama as president.
Electoral Comission didnt make John Mahama president, it was the Supreme Court. (not SC judges). This is what most people dont understand. Atuguba cant never change our SC decision and people should leave them alone and praise them for not messing our SC.

Baako jnr dont understand the difference between the Supreme Court and Supreme Court Judges. When the Supreme Court decides something, that something can never be change.
The Supreme Court Judges can not change a SC decision. Its wouldnt be a SC is his decision can be change.
The petition to a man on the street was to remove John Mahama and his government.
Baako is speaking like a man on the street, John Mahama was made the president by the SC in january 2013 by the Supreme Court. We must respect our SC and know when they decides it final.
The 9 judges are not the Supreme Court, the SC selected them to listen and ask questions about the petitioner complaint. What some fools turn to forget is, Supreme Court dont change decisions they made. The decision they made in january about our presidency is final and will always be final.
If Ghana had paliament and president after hearing Afari Gyan in the SC nobody will be telling them Ghana electoral comission needs reforming.
Baako lots of papers in front dont mean knowledge but stupidity. Chat show is not a library for reference.

It is true the President appoints the EC Chairman but once appointed s/he cannot easily be dismissed without jeopardising the independence of the EC. I expected AFAG to know this and stop acting naively. The same people would have cried foul had the President sacked the ECr.

They are calling for his head but would they accept the replacement to be appointed the President? Would they not accuse the President appointed his stooge to do his bidding in 2016? In any case, Dr Afrai-Gyan will not be there to supervised the 2016 Presidential election.

Using Dr Afari Gyan as a scapegoat for NPP's electoral defeat is unfair. Anyone who has knowledge about our electoral process will know that our elections are won or lost aet the polling stations where all the parties have their agents.
It enhances peace for elections to be challenged at the polling stations because at that point nobody knows who is winning overall. But if the results at the polling stations are certified and finally reach the strongroom for overall declaration of the winner any protest here is too late. Infact once your polling agents certify the results, the only thing left is the arithmetics.

Institutions are not accountable and in fact are not bothered whether they perform or not perform. Such has been how we have ran the nation. It will take something drastic to change this mindset.

External agents saw the need for the electoral system to be reformed. Lapses and loopholes were laid bare for all to see. The Supreme Court used the equivocations in the law to uphold the validity of John Mahama. If we feel we do not have to straighten things ahead of future elections, then we are on a hiding to nothing. We would be storing problems for the future.

If we really profess to love Ghana, we should see and do what is necessary. But unfortunately people go into politics to enrich themselves; hence Ghana is far from occupying their minds.

Let us continue to play the NPP-NDC partisan game with serious national issues. I am not a prophet of doom, but we may wake up one day to find out that we have no country to talk about.
