The EC Boss should resign honorably. With all this controversy around his name, I think he should have resigned honorably for the EC to start afresh.

Politics has blinded Ghanaians so much so that they no longer think in terms of the interest of Ghana as a whole but the interest of one party or the other. It is for NDC today and it will be for NPP or the other parties tomorrow. But what is for Ghana will continue to serve all Ghanaian. Truly, impartial reforms cannot take place under a controversial figure like Dr. Afari-Gyan and should have resigned before being told to do so if he were an honorable and patriotic man.

Dr. Afari-Gyan should not remain in that office to pave the way for a Kigali type of killings after elections in Ghana. Are we ready to go on telling the world that the African is not capable of ruling himself?

Even Bawumia in his evidence in chief could not infer any wrong doing by Afari Djan and EC except for instances of routine adminstrative lapses of some presiding officers!If they want hitch free elections then our focus should be more on the capacity building needs of political parties to effectively partner the EC, WHICH ALTHOUGH FAR FROM PERFECT IS DEFINITELY DOING VERY WELL!

The 9 SC judges who sat on the petition were not looking for winners or losers. They were there to hear a petition Nana Addo and co made against the Electoral Comission.
Supreme Court made John Mahama the president 4 january 2013 by ghana supreme court. Those stupid people who go about tell people the 9 judges can overturn our Supreme Court decision are in sane.
When a Supreme Court decides something, that something is final.
Those who think Supreme Court is the judges who work there are those who are lying to ghanaians.
Supreme Court is not a human being, its (Supreme) and dont change any decision he made. God (Supreme) dont change his decision likewise ghana SC.
Those calling themselvies Lawyers but wouldnt teach the people is not a Lawyer.
Do anybody think the 9 judges can change what our SC decided, they can never and Atuguba knows that.
Those who keep blaming the judges about the way they voted are the stupid ones.
Its time a good Judge or Lawyer to explain what is SC and how its works. SC is never wrong in his decision, and the decision the SC made in 4 january 2013 to make John Mahama was the final. Any tom dick can fool them.

Justice Dotse is isolated in his foggy reasoning.
As judge, he was supposed to rule on the 6 pleadings the petitioners brought before them. All the jazz he sang about Afari Gyan was not one of the petitioners' pleadings. Dotse should be ashamed of himself because he deviated.
It is good the EC is asking the public to submit the reforms they want. It is not enough to demand reforms; the typeof reforms must also be submitted. I will be glad for NPP to submit the reforms they require.

As they went along they passed some people who remarked it was a shame the old man was walking and the boy was riding.

The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions.

Later, they passed some people that remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." They then decided they both would walk.

Soon they passed some more people who thought they were stupid to walk when they had a decent donkey to ride. So, they both rode the donkey.

Now they passed some people that shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey."

The boy and man said they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey.

As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the animal and he fell into the river and drowned.

2.dr Afari Gyan admitted though the presiding officers made a mistake on the pinksheet the number of voters who voted for their prefered candidate was clearly indicated

we can fault EC as an Institution for employing semi illiterates to do the Job but that is the Nation we live in whereby majority of the People have been denied the right to education.
so to take such a strong Position on the personality of dr afari Gyan was not faire comment.

justice Dotse is clearly the person who came out strongly against the litany of anomalies that were traceable to the EC Office but he wasn't the only justice that took the EC to task. Others also did but were more subtle.

On unsigned Pink sheets and barometric verification, Justice Baffoe-Bonnie, for instance, was of the opinion that one would have expected the EC to have shown the petitioners the signed original copies or bring them and also the barometric print-outs to court as evidence if they were indeed signed or everybody was NBVNV respectively as Dr. Afari-Gyan was insisting in court. But he failed to do any such thing! His conduct and "indecent haste" in announcing the results and telling the PETITIONERS TO GO TO COURT is to be blamed most for all this most expensive and diversionary frivolous case brought by the petitioners simply to make a point! Well, they had made it and kudos to them! They should now tell their supporters to cool it off and not become delusional and suppose that they had a winnable case.
