He was almost always met on arrival by Vice Prez Mills or some govt officials. I have pictorial evidence to back what I'm saying.

Whether we like it or not, no traditional ruler can be compared to the Asantehene. Nobody including even a sitting govt can change that fact. Let's all eschew these petty tribal hatred and envy and think about what puts food on our table.

Infact NPP is trying to bastardise every single institution in this country, from the Police, to the Judiciary and now to the Ashanti Kingdom. Rawlings remained a good friend of the late Asantehene, Mahama is a very good friend of the current one. It seems to me NPP wants all the Asantehenes to be at war with any other party except them, but it would not happen. The NDC is just being too smart for them, period.

Further more, in the UK the prime minister is accountable to the Queen. This is not so with the president and the Ashanti (tribal) King. In Ghana the Ashanti(tribal) King is like any other King in Ghana and they all come under the President like any other citizen in Ghana. In the UK the Queen is the Sovereign ruler over all the citizens and they are her subjects including the prime minister. I am sorry you're totally and fundamentally wrong and there is no justification for taxpayers monedy to be used for a tribal King. I don't believe the same offer will be given to other Kings when the need arise. Please be careful how you make comparisons. Thanks

The Presidential jet, larger than the a Gulf Stream, consumes more fuel. So the cost of a 12 hour fly time to London and back on the presidential jet is quite high. Landing and parking charges even makes it higher. If the the economy is down to the bone, it is senseless for Mahama and Otumfuor to engage in this luxury.

Making the mistake sooooo many men make of not listening to a
