Why should the president lie. Well it is normal for him to come out to deny. But the fact is the bribery did happen. The Asantehene and ex president Kuffour did it on behalf of the president. They paid $25m

Where did he get the money from to buy a 4-million pounds mansion in London while Ashantis live in shanty towns?

He embezzled 35 million dollars from the World Bank for the poor kids in Ashanti. He would have been in prison in any civilized country.The Otumfour Fund is a sham and fraud; no bank account and no audited published account.

The least said about his cocain dealing and insurance fraud in Canada the better.

All over the world nations are changing this type of behaviour and are trying to create an egalitarian society but not yet in Ghana

The scandalous charge against Otumfuor is not necessarily an attack on the Chieftancy Institution but a most deplorable scheme to destroy the reputation of anyone of influence believed to be sympathetic to the Respondents. That mischievous act seeks to undermine the verdict of the SC and exemplifies the extent to which the 'all die be die' mantra could be taken by some surrogates of the Primary Petitioner, Akufo-Addo. Even though he might not be even remotely responsible for these unseemly acts of Social discontent risk g out of the Petition, that mantra seems to have been hijacked to justify those actions. That is why our Leaders must always carefully assess the possible repercussions of what they intend to utter in Public before delivering.

It is a big shame that the NPP must immediately address if it wants to win the next Elections.

Karbo must distinguish between constructive criticism of the Chieftaincy Institution, as is being run by our chiefs, and baseless, wild advocacy to undermine it.

It is not always that a critique against a Chief amounts to some attack on that Institution. We must be very careful not insulate the Institution from probity. No one is above the Laws of the Land and if any Chief tramples on our fundamental freedoms, he or she ought to be questioned as provided by our Constitution. That has not been proven in this case, against the Otumfuor. And the entities who made those allegations should be compelled to provide their evidential backing for those charges or brought to face the Court on defamation charges.

I see the attack on Otumfuor as a personal one by those who had long hated him for being decorous in dealing with the President and J.J.

He did nothing wrong. Despite the fact that NPP stronghold is right within the core of the Otumfuor's traditional area does not require him to antagonize the Party's Opponents or even enemies. The Otumfuor, like all other Chiefs, are supposed to remain reasonably non-partisan, even though not apolitical.
