When we talk of free and fair elections when did it occur to people that Afari Djan belongs to NDC as you have insinuated so he cannot be fair. When he called the election for former president Kuffour in 2000 and 2004, what was his political leanings. If sonme people in the EC are NDC, what about the others. Can any person confidently also say they are NPP and as such they must also leave the scene as the so called NDC people are being asked to leave? Then which people are we going to employ there as all Ghanaians vote for one political party or the other. Or are you suggesting we employ foreigners to run our elections since no Ghanaian is good enough? This is sheer hypocrisy which we must not allow to happen in this country.

A farmer stopped by the local mechanic to have his truck fixed. They couldn't do it while he waited, so he said he didn't live far and would just walk home…

On the way he stopped at the hardware store and bought a bucket and a gallon of paint. He then stopped by the feed store and picked up a couple of chickens and a Guinea fowl.

However, struggling outside the store he now had a problem – how to carry all of his purchases home. While he was scratching his head he was approached by a little old lady who told him she was lost. She asked, “Can you tell me how to get to 1313 Afalfa Lane ?”

The farmer said, “Well, as a matter of fact, my farm is very close to that house. I would walk you there, but I.m not able to carry all of this.” The old lady suggested, “Why don’t you put the can of paint in the bucket. Carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the Guinea fowl in your other hand?”

“Why, thank you very much, he said, and proceeded to walk the old lady home. On the way he says, “Let’s take a short cut and go down this alley. We’ll be there in no time.”

The little old lady looked him over cautiously, then said, “I am a lonely widow without a husband to defend me. How do I know that when we get in the alley you won’t hold me up against the wall, pull up my skirt, and screw me?”

The farmer said, “Holy Banku lady! I’m carrying a bucket, a gallon of paint, two chickens and a Guinea fowl. How in the world could I possibly hold you up against the wall and do that?”

The old lady replied, “Set the Guinea down, cover him with the bucket, put the paint on top of the bucket, and I’ll hold the chickens….”

JDM is not the one who appointed Dr Afari-Gyan, however he has the mandate to kick him out with a reason. NPP has not power, I mean NO POWER to call for EC Chairman and his deputy to resign. He was nowhere near any of these incidents but you are quick to accuse him because your party did not get what it wanted the Supeme court decided that administrative errors were not enough to declare the election invalid and you are also accusing Justice Atuguba. Afari-Gyan has been in that position for far too long and it's time for him and his deputy to be removed. Elections in any free society is meant to be truly free and fair, but for the EC boss and his deputy, it's quite different. They believe they have the sole power to chose who becomes president, even when the voices of electorate say doesn't say so. The two men have helped the NDC rig elections, as I've always pointed out, since 1992. It's time for them to go, in order to bring sanity into our electoral system. There definitely has to be reforms, a.s.a.p. so Ghana may progress.

Because by the help of Afari-Gyan and the EC, you've rigged elections since 1992 when late Prof. Adu-Boahen contested Rawlings. When it election fraud was discovered in that particular election, the honourable Prof. decided not to contest again because in his own words, it wasn't worth the try so long as Afari-Gyan remained EC's boss. I want to make it abundantly clear to Ken Kuranchie and others who think like him that if the NPP doesn't do its home work well and come out with a mediocre candidate and message, they are bound to lose the 2016 elections depending on the performance of Prez Mahamma.The winner of the next election is surely not going to be determined by who heads the EC or those who work there but by the choice of the masses, deciding between candidates with proven track records.

It is a pity that people who think like Ken Kuranchie are among the wise counselors in the NPP, advising the party on how to win the next election.Such advise will lead the party no where since a blind man only leads another blind man into a ditch. A word to the wise is in the EAST!!

Ghana does not belong to any one tribe as the NPP believes. We need a leader who can change the mind-set of Ghanaians. The belief that you become rich by engaging in poltics and stealing taxpayers' money shoul be made obsolete. The man has guts to stick to his convictions and carry them out the best way he deems fit. No one can intimidate him, not Gen Mosquito, not Jake, not Nana Addo, not Kuffour, not even Atuguba. The guy is like an old Major in the Army, he has a thick skin. You would love him to hate him, but he sees to do his work at his own terms. He fears nothing. Infact nothing moves him. When you win, you win. He has shown to be the most obejective Chairman of EC Ghana has ever produced.
