Let the Judgement Debt Commission give an ultimatum to Societe General to produce documents relating to the sale of GNPC drill ship or failure risk being kicked out of the country. If the Commission fails to do this, then civil society groups should protest against such criminal acts by foreign companies. They cannot operate on our soil and dictate to us whereas they (Foreign Companies) don't allow us to do that in their Countries. We should not allow ourselves to be enslaved in our own Country anymore! Enough is enough with this nonsense!

The actual document may be incinerated but the financial statements (profit and loss/ consolidated balance sheet) of the company for that year in question must show this transaction.

Was this not the same Gov. that told the whole world that a document sent to parliament and in the custody of the seat of Gov. (castle) cannot be traced?
This is only a ploy to equalize draw attention from the Gov. corruption, judicial bribery scandals that has engulfed the Gov. and the Asantehene.

How come Ghana expects a multi national company to come to its rescue when its own institutuions have failed to maintain records of transactions entered into on behalf of the country.
The French company first duty is to its shareholders and not the people or the government of Ghana.
Its time we stop expecting others to look after our interests. We must start taking responsibility for actions.
Those responsible must for the transaction and all related corruption must be charged with commmiting economic crime agaist the people of Ghana and tried.
