The freedom to speak and express your opinion, and especially for a professional journalist the freedom to provide information to others via the media, should always go with the responsibility to make sure there is some truth in what information you are providing. What is sorely missing in journalism in Ghana is the latter; the responsibility to appreciate the gravity of whatever information you provide has consequences. I think it is about time irresponsible journalists are brought to the book and made accountable for the information thsy provide to the public.

This need an investigation. It is not good for our democracy to been cut down everytime someone raise questions or discuss issue that is of our concern.

It is very difficult to undue a damage caused by very unprofessional journalists, radio and TV presenters. When even a withdrawal is made, people refuse to accept, because bad news sticks harder. That is why stiffer punishment should be instituted against very speculatative but dangerous publications, that pay no attention to decorum nor the hard won reputations of individuals. We are sick and tired of uncouth media men who have tied their apron strings to those of politicians for money and are on daily basis destroying the reputations of whoever they perceive to be in the way of their pay masters. They should resign from their jobs and become spokesmen of these politicians. Access to radio and TV should not be licence to run down people.

If the publisher has not retracted that particular article,why do these people face any consequence for reviewing it? Why dont you call a spade a spade and shame the devil? This Asantehene is a crook but whenever he is involved in criminal case he is covered-up by high ranking people in the society.This man lived in Canada before ascending to the stool after that he has never visited Canada.Why? Becausee has an arrest warrant around his neck that whenever he visits that country he would be arrested. Among all the occupants of the Golden Stool both past and present he is the one who has defied the stool with his notorieties. He has to be destooled for no one respects him anymore in the country.The earlier he is kick out the better it would be for the Asante kingdom and Ghana in general.

I've never heard a newspaper blaming them for a story the newspaper published. And to the CEO of Kessben, do all you can to get the trio back on air cos they're the best and truthful men in ur station. Kessben will go down without them. Mark it on a wall.
