  Apart from incompetence, the project has also suffered because it was not started by the NDC.

  This is a national project which has nothing to do with NDC or NPP. The NHIS caters for all of us, irrespective of party political affiliation.

  Nhis is one of the best things that has come to stay and a lot of Ghanaian especially, the poor and less previllge can testify to the fact. I in person is happy about the biometric system hoping that, it's implemention machanism wouldn't be a problem and also help solve duplication of data. What nhis is need to do now is to educate the public more because, policians are really distroying that system. Also the poor in society are the target group for nhis but, it seem to be different. The poor and vurnurable in society are the one's left out when it come to indigent registration. They are also the one's that are not given proper education and attention. Nhis need to empower their staffs both financially, morally and customer relation. I will also like to indicate that, nhia should be a firm institution that should not be used by hungry policians as part of their campaign slogan.

  Refurbishment should include payment to facilities. Facilities can hardly settle their drug bills. Salaries of health staff are also in arrears.
  Please address these issues.
