This Justice,in a brief but concise 21-page decision, not unlike her colleagues who dismissed the petition,saw through the charade concocted by the petitioners to come to power through the backdoor! She essentially took Akufo Addo at his word,and endorsed the view that elections are won or lost at the polling station,and not in a courtroom.
Unlike the the voter biometric registration exercise which witnessed minor skirmishes here and there,was there even a whiff of voter intimidation and suppression, events that would have prevented citizens from freely exercising their choice in the December 2012 vote? Let`s face it, this crazy of maintaining "constitutional purity" was only half-hearted in the sense that,after finding that some votes were "tainted",then the ridiculous desire of the petitioners ought to have been granted,and their man, Akufo Addo,should have been declared the winner. Of course, the dissenting knew better and realized that the entries on the accounting portion of the so-called pink sheets could not and did not tell the story about what really happened at the polling stations. In fact,the overwhelming given by the polling agents of the various parties,particularly,the two main contending ones,told the whole story!

If she rubbished the information on the PINK SHEET upon which ALL the events of the voting were recorded, and from which a winner or loser was pronounced, then she should spare us her nonsense and twisted logic. She could be a judge, a Supreme Court one, that is, BUT she's no custodian of LOGIC, FACT, LAW or WISDOM. Her abysmal attempt to reason in this context exposed her bias judgement.

Justice Akoto-Bamfo took a pre-position on the case, albeit in favour of the respondents, and STRUGGLED to clothe it with logic. She failed. It's a disgrace. she should hush it up!! We don't need any further explanation from her: We've got it!!!

Sometimes it baffles me alot when people don't face the real understanding of voting regulations. Today it's NDC tomorrow the same people backing the status quo would be crying foul when they fall in the same situation that NPP is in now. One thing we ghanaians have to understand is that all these won't help we the voters. we will always be taken for granted and the politicians win and we the rest loss. Judges can be bais too and it's up to all ghanaians to face the truth and it doesn't matter who the truth favours.Elections in ghana would never be the same and come a time politicians would pay their way out for victory with our own money because they know that we ghanaians will understand. The question now is, why do we have rules and regulations in elections. When rules and regulation are set in an election and its unconstitutional, the supreme court ought to address it long before we go to the polls.

In seeking justice in the name of the Rule of Law, one must be careful not to use the law to perpetrate an injustice. In this regard also it is paramount to take into account the spirit and reasoning of the constitution. The petitioners case was so bad and frivolous that any right thinking person will turn his back on it. (2)I want to draw the woman's attention to the fact that if a presiding officer fails to apply his stamp to a cast ballot, the ballot is rejected. Are we not visiting the sins of the presiding officer on the voter?

That is why a strict and narrow interpretation of the constitution will defeat the purpose and intent of constitution.Instead she opted for the more recognized and acceptable purposive definition of constitutional interpretation.A clear modern approach which is followed by experts in constitution all over the world

It is one of the few judgements delivered on that day which will stand the test of time.The decision
of Anim Addo,Dotse and Owusu will come under close scrutiny for a long time.Their conclusions were just too harsh abrupt and did not take into consideration the human factors.

Those of their long mouthed villains and hallucination sufferers who thought that their 100 and over lawyers can meet the jurisprudence prowess of Oxford trained and God-gifted Tsatsu made the biggest mistake of their lives, even those who had titles of "Prof" among the NPP lawyers don't imagine and understand how Tsatsu knows and understand the legalities and constitutionalities to that depth and heights!! After the oral presentation, the whole world saw Tsatsu as someone in a class of his own!!! There is no challenger!! Tsatsu disgraced and exposed their main petitioner- Bawumia and perforated the Pink Sheets and never in the history of this country will the NPP think shallowly based on their community tutors for any advice!! The disgrace and the exposure of one of the judges who constantly stood against the NDC just for his parochial interest by Tsatsu was a reasonable fact and made a clean breast of issues. She has single handedly shown to me that the Dr. Bawumia's of Ghana and all the lawyers of the NPP have lacked not only common sense but have never understood the law in its derivation or application and certainly not understood the constitution of Ghana.
For those NPP zealots and foot soldiers who continue to get on Peacefm and or use Ghanaweb to publicize useless and illogical articles I say read Justice Akoto-Bamfo's reasoning and you may just find that all the ballyhoo about pink sheets did not amount to a hill of beans. The pink sheets did not and could not stand on its own since there were rival measures, like the registered voters and counts from the ballots, which are actual verifiable tools to ascertain the true elections results of the 2012 contest. Should Nana Akufo-Addo, Sir John and members of the petitioner’s law team need logical thought processes they can go to Justice Akoto-Bamfo for lessons. Acquiring classroom earned degrees, irrespective of which nation conferred those degrees, can never be synonymous with wisdom. Thank you Justice Akoto-Bamfo you have proven that wisdom continue to exist in Ghana in the midst of chaos brought on by a bunch of know nothing classroom educated illiterates of the NPP here in Ghana and elsewhere.

Since the Supreme Court judgement, many have castigated the judges for making a bad decision. As the arguments for their positions come out, a totally different picture is emerging. It is becomibng apparent that the judges put a lot of thought into their decisions, as would be expected of people of their calibre.

While some may disagree with their conclusions, we have to admit that they thought through the issues and logically arrived at their decision.

If you don't agree, please go back and re-read the judge's argument above. It makes a lot of sense.
