  It would certainly be difficult for customers in Ghana to trust their banks. Come to think about it when a bank of international repute could blacklist their customers of a whole industry with its service providers without even communicating this to customers from that sector.The reason for that hostile action towards customers stemmed from the fact that metal prices are on a downhill and for fear of massive retrenchment.The did not even taken the time find out from employers of affected customers what their plans are regarding employees before taking such a draconian decision. Customers were therefore left with the option withdrawing all monies that hit the accounts without allowing the banks use of such monies to service customers of other sector of the economy.

  The game must change in favor of the customer. This can only happen when there is intense competition between the Banks in Ghana.

  Customers are well perceived by Banks in Ghana as beggers, needing the help of banks... this is the core reason why Banks in Ghana treat customers anyhow.
