We're all sick of foolish utterances of wars and bloodshed because politics is supposed to give us life and a better life and is supposed to bring out our best self. When it results in mass destruction and hatred and anxiety, it's the antithesis I think of what politics was designed to do....

His so-called experience in conducting "free and fair" elections were all tainted with corrupt behaviour because they were all NOT SCRUTINISED as the 2012 elections were.
He has usurped the role of a kingmaker instead of a mere supervisor of supervising the process of king making. For a true an fair election for future years Ghana needs a widespread electoral and political reforms of which Afari-Dgyan SHOULD NOT BE INVOVED, otherwise the reform will be biased and tainted as well.

Because the election was so transparent and the counting of ballot papers from the transparent boxes was done openly with their agents present at all times, the petitioners did not complain. If an agent ticks the names of voters as they go through the electoral process how could you claim over-voting? The petition was a waste of time because the last election was more transparent and credible than the two that brought J.A. Kuffour to power in 2000 and 2004. If it is a lie then let God punish those who are now lying to the world about 2012 election irregularities. Let Afari Gyan bring out all records and publish them for all to see - everything including pink sheets - from A-Z of all the elections up to 2012.

Surely when you have an EC commissioner who does not know what over voting is, says no verification no vote before election, allows voting without verification and then deny it took place during the petition, you are inviting war. I am not a great fun of the npp but an advocate for free and fair elections and I don't see how the EC can claim to share these sentiments when they blatantly cheat for one party.
Supporting your party blindly is not a trait that anyone should be proud of and before questioning the maturity of others make you have your thinking cup on.

The sad thing about the 2012 election was that the losing Party (NPP)has been contentious because it could not take in the impact. Liked its forerunner the United Party(UP)in the 1950s and
60s, the NPP could not stomach losing. The Danquah/Busia tradition has been a bad loser, from day one. Those who saw what happened at the end of elections in the past, after the tradition's party had lost, were not surprised about the NPP demur this time around.

This is common sense but I remember reading from one of the books that, “COMMON SENSE IS COMMON BUT IT’S NOT COMMON FOR EVERYONE” NPP leadership made it clear that they d strong evidence to overturn the elections the elections. The case was taken to court and the petition itself lacked merit.
How on earth can you tell me that after people queuing to cast their votes, if by someone’s negligence to sign the pink sheet, the valid votes should be annulled? This is lack of common sense.
Why should innocent people suffer for the mistakes of others?
The petitioners claimed votes were padded to Mahama’s votes while Nana Addo’s votes were reduced, were the petitioners able to prove this?
From what we all saw from the proceedings, there were under no circumstance where Mahama faulted.
How can you make claims you can’t substantiate? This is insane..

Its a shame John Mahama is not acting like a President. If an institution in democracy is not working well, the whole democracy is not working well.
If Afari Gyan the chairman of our EC openly and proudly saying he had it wrong and cant correct it; what is John Mahama waiting for before he cant sack him.
If Afari Gyan could stop and correct the errors and rigging during 2012 elections, he would have done it. He couldnt stop the rigging.
