Has he found out how many countries in the 1St world vaccinated their girls and the success rates Are we not being used as Guinea Pigs by the Pharmacuetical.Please, Mr President as a proud Ghana, do not allows untested drugs such as the Anti-malaria from India sent to Ghana. There are more malaria deaths in India than in Ghana, so why not tested in India. In fact There are more POOR AND UNEDUCATED PEOPLE in India than Ghana. Please bear in mind that our so-called leaders are in bed with these large international pharmaceutical corporate entities and many others. So, in that sense, they get their cut for our people to be used as guinea pigs and eventually the sale of the vaccination to us. Just as the GM crops being grown in our nation. When it sits in well with our taste buds, we will start importing them.

This kind of collaboration goes across board with both the NDC and the NPP governments, in the name of globalization and so-called democracy.

It has nothing to do with helping African at all. And it's rather unfortunate we as a people don't get it! We are too gullible!!!!!

But the first thing Ghana should do is to encourage all adult females in Ghana to be going in for the Paptest. This test must be done in at least every regional hospital. New advances in the annual screening of women for cervical cancer has revealed that annual screening is unnecessary when the result is negative for consecutive number of times . This eliminates unnecessary cost the patient.It is necessary only if the Paptest shows abnormal results.
Paptest is considered necessary even with the introduction of HPV vacines.

When my 9 year old daughter came home from school with a consent form requesting that she is vaccinated at school against cervical cancer, I asked 7 health professionals in Canada whether they will vaccinate their girls against cervical cancer. Three of them responded NO, the remaining were hesitant. Not a single one of them said YES, I keep wondering why. Another health professional confessed that all side effects are not known yet. I believe it is a personal choice and the campaign to vaccinate must put education first to allow parents to make informed choices. No one should feel coerced.
