I will continue to express my thanks to the minister, because frankly speaking what Ghana needs is unity among its people and not disunity, sabotage and ideals coming out of hatred; this mentality of making sure the one in power will not succeed is a mind of the past which leads to nowhere. You can not find that mind in China's developmental ideas and national policies. Yamin being a fulani is not the issue, that is a village mind talk. We heard some workers of the north and Burkina Faso who worked on the cocoa farms too slept with women on the farms so that they would deliver children of height and not short. Can all this be brought into the context of discussions? Ofcourse NO. So Fulani is not the issue.
It seems we allow tribal hatred and party differences to put us to the pit of no development, while we still wish and expect development in this primitive, tribal and political bigotry environment. I believe it is time to come together and learn how to accept that somebody won election, and he has to be given the right of peaceful environment to rule, because when he is undermined and failed the failure covers and and hence affect all of us negatively.
EDUCATING OURSELVES: Another point worth considering is the introduction of the single spine salary SSS; First remember Kufour left a national inflation of 18% percent which will help you to understand that Ghana was then in Financial deficit. In this deficit arena Kufour again introduced the SSS [ increase workers salary eg if a police earns 3.5 million cedis, he will now earn 7 to 8 million cedis] Honestly every person has to cheerish increament in his/her salary but how could this be done for all the workers nationwide if our economy is in deficit. In reality Kufour should have done this and implimented it during his long stay in power of 8 years. He introduced this SSS when leaving office and runaway and left it for the incoming government to come and face the difficulty of implimenting the SSS with the deficit he Kufour left behind for the NDC;- mind you not a budget credit, anyway. [ A THING KNOWN TO ALL IN GHANA]
Are you not aware of the strikes, that workers are asking of their SSS. The implimentation alone is a big national problem, where is the money coming from to satisfy the workers as well as finishing projects which have been started already and needed to be completed. Now is not about talking / writing alone but is about being little realistic of our national woes that needs all minds and hands onboard to solve our national problems. When we are not aware of our nation's problems then we can turn to abuse, accuse, blame here and there. Those of you there who are aware of our politics and socioeconomics will tell you Kufour left bad economy, and if honestly so while the hell of noise and blaming the NDC.
If national debt was 9 million cedis that Kufour left, and why are you making too much noise of 15.6 million cedis at present when the SSS will not be fulfilled/implimented with stealing money but with borrowing money which in practice is the only natural way;- resorting to borrow, of even USA is one of the nation that owe through borrowing. Look at the WAHALA of the petition case in our court, what impression does it give to outsiders/investors/creditors who have the money to invest in our economy? Fear gripped them so they took measures which never favoured us economically, that's what you see real now. They will hold up their money since no sensible person will like to put his/her money in a confused/disorganised/political fighting at court/ environment. Even many of you Ghanaians were withdrawing your monies from your own nation that you claimed you love. The investors did the same, so do not be foolish hypocrates that God will not leave you free from your hypocracy. Let's get together like the Chinese so that we can cause change for the better and best for ourselves and our children.

The Better Ghana they promised is the one where utility prices are going up 80% and 50% and fuel going up like they are crazy. And they are borrowing like there is no tomorrow, forgetting that loans are not free, and that future governments will have to come and pay these loans. The sad part is that, we cannot even see what these loans are doing. Our Water and Electricity services have become erratic, out roads are congested and filled with potholes and dust, the projects Kufour started have all been left hanging because contractors are not being paid. NHIS, School Feeding, Common Fund, everything is in arrears, with the music that there is no money. Where does all the borrowing go? and where does all the Oil money go? Kufour was able to do what he did even when there was no oil money. And you people were complaining. Now there is Oil which is fetching us nearly US$ 1.0 billion every year, and in addition, you are borrowing like hell, and yet there is always no money for anything at all. How will there be money, if you create by borrowing, Loot and Share? The meat will indeed be finished, and we will only be left with the bones. And now you blame NPP? After you have emptied the national coffers for election campaign, and shared the rest with Woyome and your Cronies. Yet our Northern and Ewe brothers will never see anything wrong with the unprecedented Stealing that is going on. I can understand the Ewes, because they are originally not Ghanaians, they are Togolese who voted to join Ghana in 1958 under Kwame Nkrumah. So they don't care if Ghana will burn or Ghana becomes like Togo. But my Northern brothers who still support this Looting Brigade is my problem. The Better Ghana they promised is the one where utility prices are going up 80% and 50% and fuel going up like they are crazy. And they are borrowing like there is no tomorrow, forgetting that loans are not free, and that future governments will have to come and pay these loans. The sad part is that, we cannot even see what these loans are doing. Our Water and Electricity services have become erratic, out roads are congested and filled with potholes and dust, the projects Kufour started have all been left hanging because contractors are not being paid. NHIS, School Feeding, Common Fund, everything is in arrears, with the music that there is no money. Where does all the borrowing go? and where does all the Oil money go? Kufour was able to do what he did even when there was no oil money. And you people were complaining. Now there is Oil which is fetching us nearly US$ 1.0 billion every year, and in addition, you are borrowing like hell, and yet there is always no money for anything at all. How will there be money, if you create by borrowing, Loot and Share? The meat will indeed be finished, and we will only be left with the bones. And now you blame NPP? After you have emptied the national coffers for election campaign, and shared the rest with Woyome and your Cronies. Yet our Northern and Ewe brothers will never see anything wrong with the unprecedented Stealing that is going on. The development came to light when the Director in charge of Resource Mobilisation at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, Mr Kwadwo Awua-Peasah, was subpoenaed to furnish the commission with copies of agreements on the supply of vehicles from the AAL to the said ministries.
Mr Awua-Peasah told the commission that the ministry had no records on the agreements in respect of the 19 ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) that were supplied, and also had their vehicles serviced by the AAL.
After three years of non-payment, the AFRICA AUTOMOBILE is requesting the said amount being the accumulation of interest on the balance.
