  GSS must continue to provide reliable, accurate and up-to-date statistics in a timely fashion to monitor the performance of the economy, aid decision-making and policy development.
  
  The statistics confirm what we have suspected all along, the detrimental effect of the electoral dispute on the economy. We would expect that with the dispute over, Ghanaians will get back to work and concentrate on rebuilding the economy.
