Only meaningful demonstrations brings positive outcome for the benefits of the nation. Most of these demonstrations are just political acts. The organisers could use their time, energy, knowledge and skills to first seek negotiation with the authorities and the agencies concern to formulate a plan or result(s). The organisers of demonstrations must explain to their followers or sympathisers their aim or objectives for their proposed actions for a good support. Many sadly follow demonstrations without knowing why.

He is simply that demonstrations NEED to be collective in order for it to be effective..and that is very true!...He knows the nature of Ghanaians to sit back and complain but is inactive in any civil movement. He is asking Ghanaians to change this attitude and to embark on a collective nationwide uprising (not just CJA and AFAC) against these increases in tariffs as these increases in fact, does affect every Ghanaian. If this is unachievable and the majority of Ghanaians are going to sit back, then there should be no need for any demonstration as it is not going to be effective as has been proven in the past!..Ghanaians let's change our attitude and lets all rise as a nation and not leave this responsibility to any small group of people and we can twist the arms of the Government to withdraw these tariffs increases. Kwesi Pratt must be encouraged for seeing this and advocating for a TOTAL uprising comprising of the entire 10 regions of Ghana.

But pay attention here, did those demonstrations work???...apparently not! why?...because it didn't have the force of the totality of all Ghanaians. Mr. Pratt learnt from it, hence his comments. Kwesi Pratt has been a participant of a lot of demonstrations including the one you've just referred to. He now understands that for a demonstration to be effective it has to have the backing of the masses otherwise it is fruitless, per his own experiences.
