Nkrumah off all the money he inherited took us back to the slavery of IMF and WB due to his mismanagement,(the black man is capable of managing his own affairs indded) it was only Kuffour that brought us back from that slavery. However, when the great JJ was in power, the country was moving forward in all aspect. Soon after relinguishing power, it become what it is. Why can`t you blame those NPP leaders and some of the NDC leaders for engaging in the heaviest corruption that lead to the fall of the country? Before year 2000, Ghana was becoming an economy tiger if not lion of Africa, but today the corrupt political gangs seize all the money of the country by putting it into their personal pocket and you are blaming I M F and World bank. Jerry Rawlings and his PNDC rattled the same old socialist and "revolutionary" nonsense about the US, IMF and the World bank in the 1980s. When they ran down the country without a penny for expenditures, it was the same IMF and the World Bank they ran to and not the sponsors of the revolution. What's Pratt's economics or Finance background. Remember how the IMF had to write a budget for us in 1984? We accepted it because the revolutionary government of wee-smoking school dropouts like Jerry Rawlings did not have a clue about anything, nor did he go to Gadhafi's Libya for money.
