Is there any nation on this planet that is well developed yet, her citizens are dishonest and disrespect the rule of law? No. There is no nation like that.

It is a good move to be appreciated since it gives the serious ones among the Ghanaian population to be aware of the negative, careless and irresponsible mind set of the so called useless politicians who forced their way BY ALL MEANS into positions with the fake convincing mind that they are there to take of the people who voted them into such offices. My big question is that; why do they all fail to defend the nation when it comes to legal matters raised against our nation.
The contrary is they, as people will kill to defend their personal properties at courts, typical example is the petition case at court recently, where we all saw abusive languages used everywhere against opponents. Another shamefull behavior that holds all of them guilty since 1992, the invsetigation relating to the judgement debts, Woyome case, isofoton, Waterville, the drill ship case, and many others.
I wonder if the electorates even understand what Justice Appau, the good hearted and educated Northerner is doing for us all. I will simply stop here because it is time we know who really care for Ghana. Politicians only follow their parties and the money they have in mind to steal, just like some of them are stealing GOVERNMENT PROPERTIES.
Some even shamefully come out to say they bought government bungalows; Mr Obetsebi Lamptey and others, a shameful and disgraceful acts. Some said I bought this car while K T Hammond also took the Accra international students hostel at the Airport area and changed documents into his name with the support of Kufour, the smart thief in Ghana politics.
Anybody who doubts can contact lands department and you can see for yourself filifiliii. Also another display of robbery, the 400 feet lands besides the Tema motorway also 200 feet stolen by the same Kufour regime guys through his well planned and smartly executed policy of REZONING OF GOVERNMENT LANDS POLICY, a plocy strategically projected to steal all government lands they see them okey for their private investments and development. Can these behaviours help Ghana? Of course NO.
Lets see how we can change for the goodness of our nation. You can also add to these of what you factually know. Please, be real inorder to help bring out all those who go there only to steal us. Ghana is OUR nation.

When it gets to a point where people have no reason to live and nothing to live for, they can resort to all sorts of violence and can easily be influenced by all kinds of people because they don't care whether they lose their lives or not.
African leaders must be careful. The must try to bridge the equity gap between the rich and the poor and must provide social protection nets to cover the underprivileged in society. This is the only way the youth will find life worth living and protect themselves and also support their governments for national development.
Boko Haram came to existence in an attempt to create an Islamic state because of the huge development gaps between the south and the north. It was easier for them to recruit young people because of extreme poverty and lack of education.
Politicians in Ghana must be careful. They must avoid policy of exclusion and must use the resources bequeathed upon them to inure to the benefits of the larger society. They must not lined their own pockets and forget about the electorates who put them there and go back to them after four year when they need their votes again. The underprivileged can be fooled sometimes with bicycle, bags of rice, roofing sheets etc for votes against the development that the need badly to transform their lives but certainly the cannot be fooled all the time.

WHAT IS EVEN STRANGE IS, THESE ARE THE VERY MEN AND WOMEN WHO DO COMPLAIN VERY MUCH OF THE ECONOMIC SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY.
THE NATION CAN ONLY SURVIVE WHEN THESE CRIMINALKS ARE SMOKED OUT, OTHERWISE THE FUTURE OF GHANA STILL LOOOKS VERY BLEAK FOR THE PRESENT AND THE NEXT GENERATIONS.

Is Justice Yaw Appau now learning this? It is just unfortunate, but that is the reality - "Ghana’s Public Treasury is a victim of ‘mass rape and defilement’ on a regular basis by the very people appointed to protect it."
Yaw Appau, you would not only be shedding tears, but be tempted to commit suicide, by the time you finish your work, if at all you are able to finish.
Recall the days in Sunyani when you were Deputy Regional Secretary/Minister for BA/R. Of course, I knew your were and have been upright, but there was so much rot in the systems - even at the Regional Administration where you worked. Such is the pity that our beloved country finds itself in. NO wonder fellow Ghanaians travel abroad for studies/training and they fail to return. Who would want to return to rot, when the expertise acquired can be put to better use, for the benefit of other mankind who work hard to avoid the ROT going on in Ghana.
Unfortunate and a shame indeed! Keep up with the good work, Justice Yaw Appau, and make sure you DOCUMENT ALL, for the sake of posterity. Please, do not shed tears; the worst are yet to be seen, as you keep doing the work diligently!

Each dept/ministry has it's own budget for a reason, to avoid this kind of stupidity, "overspending" and collusion. You spend based on your budget allocation, so that when your money runs out you know. If one dept/ministry can spend whatever they want for another dept to pay, then what is the point of the annual departmental budget? These monies should never ever be paid by the Ministry of Finance. And, if they (the perpetrators) have the requisite documentation, then they should send their claims to the respective dept/ministries. Surprisingly, most of these people will be sitting in the front church pews on Sunday mornings.
