No one should panic. Yes, indeed, it is a big blow but I think, a good result will come out of this unfortunate accident. I remembered when John Mensah was red carded and was about to miss a next match, I never knew then that ...

    It's a bad news.
Where are those who are forcing Appiah to name his squad? A coach has to study the available "resources" to be able to name his squad.

What I've noticed is that the appointment of the Moroccan referee has ...

  • The Stallion 10 years ago

I just read at FIFA that the return leg in Egypt will be played at midnight Egypt time. I don't believe it. I think it may be an error because I don't see how a game will be played at midnight.

They are capable of appointi ...

Algeria has also just announced that their return leg against Burkina will be played on 11/19/13 at midnight.

I'm still checking. It could be an error on the part of FIFA. I'll post details later.

  • The Stallion 10 years ago

The game is rather starting at 11 PM Cairo time because FIFA's system did not take into consideration that by 11/19/13, Day Light Saving Time has ended. Standard Time begins on Nov 3rd, when the clock is pushed one hour backw ...

DO YOU THINK THIS GAME FOR USELESS PLAYERS WE HAVE IN THE LEAGUE! WE NEED EXPERIENCE PLAYERS WHO CAN CARRY THE BURDEN

  • Kenneth Osei-Afriyie 10 years ago

Ah, there we go. This makes the return of John Mensah even more pertinent in spite of the availability of Vorsah; Sumaila and Awal. John can bring stability, organisation and leadership at the back, I believe.

  • The Stallion 10 years ago

The report listed Vorsah as injured also.

  • Kenneth Osei-Afriyie 10 years ago

Thanks brother Stallion for drawing my attention to that. Just hope Vorsah and Boye recover. They have one week to do so before we begin camping otherwise we are screwed big time.

  • Slimzay **Unshakable Shaker** 10 years ago

Vorsah;s recovery date is somewhere in November. Even if he recovers now, his fitness may be in doubt.

Why go back for John Mensah, who doesn't have a team now? What happened to Jerry Akaminko, Muhamed Awal and the rest? I ...

THOSE YOU MENTION HAVE NOT ANY EXPERIENCE AS DID JOHN ? WITHOUT CLUB BUT CAN ORGANISE WELL IN DEFENSE. BAR LEE ARDY THE REST HAS NOT BEEN TESTED

  • Slimzay **Unshakable Shaker** 10 years ago

Do you think organizing alone is what determines the effectiveness of a defender? Check the responsibilities of a defender again. Besides, what is the prove that John can organize the defense? He has not been playing competit ...

You may be right. The referee can turn out to be generous. But who knows? Let's see what is going to happen.

That is where our worry should be, not our farting about players!
