You don't need to worry about whether Rawlings booms or not! There's so much mess and filth in Ghana today that is enough of a boom. Take, for instance, the "revelations" coming out from the hearings at Judgement Debt Commission, the utter rape and plunder of the state coffers by thieves and devils who're parading themselves as technocrats and politicians! Consider, too, the incredible level of looting of the public purse that's gone on and on under that GYEEDA progamme! As though all these instances of filth are not enough sources of pain and anger for the people, prices of utility "products" are just going up, up and up!

Such nauseating raiding of the state finances cum such deteriorating economy make far, far greater and more, more potent a boom than Rawlings' utterances!

So long as there's a case for boooming, then, boom there will be! Look around the country, there're over a billion cases for booming daily! And they are booming. The strikes here and there; the outcries coming from the Judgement Debt Commission etc., etc., -- these are all booms!

Ghana is already booming!

After reading this article, it is clear to me that the so-called intention of Rawlings to boom is just the imagination of Al-Hajj newspaper. The article creates the false impression suggesting that what Rawlings said at the Awoonor’s house was in response to what President Mahama said at the UN General Assembly in New York. This is a big lie. Rawlings was only paying tribute to the late Awoonor from his own free mind and I believe, had Awoonor not died, Rawlings would not have been heard at the time he spoke.
By now, we should be used to the way Rawlings speaks freely from a holier-than-thou mentality. When Rawlings is in his full elements, he plays God and speaks from a high sanctimonious high tower where he is the only saintly and rightful entity while all others are full of misdeeds and iniquities of which they must repent. If the writer finds something wrong with what Rawlings said, the honest thing to do is to say it boldly but to suggest that Rawlings was reacting to President Mahama’s speech is mischievous.

He combined four govt bungalows into one at the ridge, built a mansion on the Volta lake with a stanby yacht, another mansion at Agirigano, bought houses in the UK for his adopted children, paid tuition fees for all of them to acquire British education but the stomach-chilling one was when he used an air-force plane to teach one of the adopted children to fly. Do you call this bastard a revolutionary? Why is he bitter now?
Because Mahama has realised like ex-prez Mills that he cannot continue to pay bribes to keep him quiet and that is why Avaklasu is back barking like a frightened dog!
