Agyeman Badu starting before Essien will work too but Agyeman Badu lacks discipline in terms of formation stability. Watch his matches. When he is supposed to play as a defensive mid, he plays it well but sometimes moves in without noticing how far he has gone from his actual position. Yes, he has the speed to come back during counter attacks but because he wants to score, it would be too risky to put him there. Egypt is a team we will need good mapping to handle them. Don't also forget, they will have their most experienced midfield player as a play maker in the name of Mohammed Aboutrika right there. With his long range passes, you can leave him alone there. That will be suicidal.

Secondly, if he plays as a defensive mid, he can't go in too much because the player he may be paired with would be Kwedwo Asamoah, who rather will play as the hidden play maker. Therefore, both our defensive midfielders can't ignore their positions just because they want to score.

In this match, we will need a solid, disciplined defensive mid with experience. So my question to you is, who has it more than Essien in the squad? I don't know ooooooo!

With Wakaso, I will agree with you there because they both play the same with the exception of Wakaso being the faster between the two. I'm feeling it thought, that Muntari may start because Coach Kwasi Appiah may test him when the player is not playing well by taking him out for Wakaso. Just to see the reaction of Muntari if he has learnt something from the last incident. I may be wrong.

If Kevin Boateng decides to play, you don't mean it by starting him from the bench. Are you serious! No coach would come out with that. Sitting Kevin for a player like Warris? Even if the formation should be 4-3-3 which demands 3 attackers, Kevin Boateng will be called before Majeed Warris. Thus for that suggestion, I totally disagree with you there.

I guess what is happening now is that Appiah is sort of forced to use the "names" first. At the end of the day it might be the Wakasso, Agyemang Badu and Warris types who make the difference. Baba Rahman inclusion is a superb choice. The young man plays well nowadays. I saw one of his matches yesterday which I even mentioned it last night on Jonathan Mensah's injury article. As if I knew the technical team had a radial on him. For that one, I give it to AA. He has done well.

A player like Jordan Ayew for instance, to me, is there to add to the numbers. Such a player, you don't waste your energy to argue on their inclusion. Besides, I don't know whether all the 25 players instead of 23 players are allowed to be listed. Therefore, they may be here to justify their inclusion.

In terms of Frank Acheampong, I'm not certain but I think he is hurt, I may be wrong on that but I will check it later.

Qunicy Owusu Abeyie is not better than any of the players called for the right-wing position, where he plays. Have you seen him play lately? He dribbles himself. Since 2011 season till today, he has played on 39 matches. Even of that 39 matches, check his minutes from those matches. When you done multiply 39 games by 90 minutes (per a game). Subtract his minutes from the total minutes (39x90) and you will see the difference. Abeyie is not doing well, bro.

Harrison Afful, on the other hand, is suspended due to his yellow card accumulation in the qualifies.

Now you see, the coach is to me, right on the spot.

Some years, ago someone brought that strategy of diving to one side with the hope of saving a kick or two but it was found out it was stupid idea. However, Kingson is stuck with that idea. He only dives to the right instead of standing still and reading their legs.

During the last world cup, is he had stool still without evening moving, he would have saved some of the penalties. I pray that he is not put in the goals for penalty because of his experience.

From a professional perspective he has two games to play. He can afford to call some of the old school players that all have been shouting for and some of the newer players who have been doing the work throughout qualification. As a coach he knows that he can start the superstars and if we are not winning by the 60th minute he has the right to change to the players that he really wants. I think we will come to realize that this is now Wakasso's team. It is nice to have big names but the hungry players will come to our rescue in the end.
