when judges and senior lawyers are appointed by politicians and not on legal merit, then all you've written is the case.
In the more advanced countries, oversight commitees, exist to oppose such appointments.

In the more advanced countries, oversight commitees, exist to oppose such appointments.
In Ghana court judges are appointed by politicians to solely rule in the government's favour, so petitioning the president would be to no avail.
Please re-write your piece taking into account what I have just pointed out.
