  We have Salary sructures that Ghana cannot afford right now.!!!! The Govt should come out with a VISIONARY PLAN to bring us NEARER what we can AFFORD!!. We shouldn't ALWAYS be counting on DONOR NATIONS to supplement our BUDGE ...

We shouldn't ALWAYS be counting on DONOR NATIONS to supplement our BUDGET !! We SHOULD FIRST LIVE WITHIN OUR MEANS and any money from DONORS should be seen as a PLUS for FURTHER DEVELOPMENT!!

In usa you walk the supermarket aisles, You see tomatoes whole in cans,sliced,tomatoe paste,tomato soup, tomatoe juice,Pizza sause,Noodle sauce...Once canned vegatables and fruits like coconut can last 1 year! So that saves loss on farm..And people can stick them on self and when they run out money or weather is too wet to go out..They can open can and eat..Just watch the amount of salt in canned and frozen foods..Thats where fresh will keep your blood pressure lower

  Ms Khan was unhelpful when she says, "the government should encourage public consumption....", when she knows the consumable are not produced in the country but imported from abroad with its high cost.

  why does the #2 cocoa producer in world only have chocolate candy(toffee) at the airport duty free shop..what about hot cocoa that is drank in usa like coffee or hot tea? these candy bars are eat every day by adults and children for 1-2 cedi(.5-$1)..And of course Valentines day bring out huge chocolate heart shaped box's full of cocoa toffee..go to www.snickers.com and leave comments for Mars or their competitor Hershey or Cadbury to build Chocolate candy(toffee) plants in ghana to supply west africa1 Do they already have them in Ivory Coast??

  Gov't has failed consistently when it comes to setting realistic budgets. Why, because politicians are so used to lying, they even lie to themselves when it come to planning their expenditures and revenues on projects. All the delays in production of gas, fixing water/electricity (Bui was supposed to be fully operational by now).
  
  These people implemented a new salary structure, then came back to say the bill was too high. What kind of idiot doesn't know how much it will cost when they are planning a salary change - what business would run that way.
  
  Prices of commodities have been historically high, but it was always likely they would begin to fall to pre-global recession levels...gov't living in fairytale land decided to imagine the best possible price, then used that as another excuse for lower revenue.
  
  The fact that we do so badly meeting our budget is a clear sign of incompetence. Period
