We all know that Gabby never passed the law exams. That was when his uncle was the Director of the Law School.

After failing all his papers, his uncle organised a separate 'exam' for him in his living room. Sadly, Gabby still failed two of those fake papers. Despite that his uncle smuggled Gabby's name onto those graduating that year and that is how Gabby became a lawyer.

It is clear that persons without a conscience will do anything - does Gabby wear the lawyers' gown with 'pride'?

Similarly, his other uncle, Nana Addo, tried to hoodwink the SC into making him president after the voters rejected him at the polls. Now that the SC threw out that frivolous and vexatious petition Nana has turned his cheating ways to the NPP. He wants to cheat his way to the leadership for 2016. He is attempting to rig the process for selecting the flag bearer and NPP is now struggling to handling this.

You see! Nana does not believe in fair play - he always wants to win at all cost. Akyems like cheating and litigation - right from the Danquah era.

NDC is praying hard for NPP to shoot itself in the head (not foot) by allowing Nana to rig their flag bearer election.

It really beats my mind that GBA has now woken up from their sleep to put measures to no commentary on cases in court. Even a non-legal mind knows that to discuss a case in court is a prejudice. So where was Sammy Okudzeto all this time?. I hasten to say where he had been. May be the insignificant was soliciting around to be significant. He did Sam Okudzeto get to become a President of Ghana Bar Assoc. Oh, well, it is who you know in Ghana.

There is no need for the GBA to be mad. This particular law should be studied and if it needs to be changed then action should be taken to that effect. Some of these laws were dessigned to protect our colonial masters. Infact some of our judges also hide behind this law to give people unfair trials. Look at the US system and one can see the benefits of lawyers commenting on cases before courts. What is important is that the judges should do their work honestly without fear or favour. Comments from the public including lawyers do not change the law if a judge knows what he is about.
