Ghanaians are burden down with insensitive utility tarriffs, multiple taxation and lack of basic social amenities while the president is globe trotting collecting photographic momentos. Just three days ago, his Finance Minister expressed his worries about the economy with government employee salaries alone consuming 74% of all revenues collected.

On that same day, it was reported that our budget donor partners are unwilling to contribute towards our budget because of their worries about government expenditure on government workers salaries and our rate of borrowing.

The UN assembly meeting ended about a week ago and with our economy being in crisis, this clueless moron of a President is running around USA and posing infront of CNN Logo like tourist while Ghanaians are suffering. Those who voted for this moron should be ashamed of themselves

Wow! I cannot believe a country's president would chose to pose in front of CNN. Folks this is the biggest disgrace in Ghana's life. Who planned this CNN pose; who asked for John Mahama to do this? It is painful to note that Ghana's president could goof like this. I bet the NDC scouts think it's a great achievement and surely, the white folks will be laughing their heads off. This simply unbelievable; it's unacceptable! Oh, what a president! What a mockery!

It's becoming increasingly clear that the EC and NDC colluded to steal the ballot and John Mahama cleverly put Atuguba's nephew in his office so they could help cement his presidency with that dubious Supreme Court verdict. And that's why we're seeing all these kinds of garbage. Let Ghanaians arise and prepare to do the right thing in 2016. We cannot have this hopeless people doing us harm like that. I was curious when I saw the heading of the article but looking at the picture of a President of a sovereign country which attained independence in 1957 standing in front of a signage of a cable news channel is an insult, a disgrace and demeaning not only to his personality but the entire nations. Those who would argue otherwise would do the same. It is a common human sense and faculty it is the unpolished, uncultured and uncivilised who would stand in front of a signage in a capacity as a president. This has not happened in the history of any president globally. If he was holding a baby in front of a clinic with a signage of that establishment it could have been a wise choice. The action displayed by the His Excellency President Mahama is an insult to dignified Ghanaians the undignified would see nothing wrong…but we the dignified see it absolutely wrong. If this is the President leading the country, then we are doomed as strategic thinking is lacking and drawing a vision for a nation is questionable from the President.

Ghanaians are a joke. One way of reducing government expendicture in to reduce the number of paliamentarians, many of them paid for doing nothing. By merging the districts, funds will be available for infrastructure and social developments that will help better the lives of the average Ghanaian. Also merge Ministries to release funds for the numerous ministers and deputy ministers into the local economy. Thirdly allow the MPs, principal secretsries, heads of departments and government co-operations heads hire their own places and pay for water, gas, electricity, cars and the petrol for their cars. Even in the US the congressmen use their pay to rent appartments to do their jobs and US is much richer than Ghana.
We need a leader who is bold and wise to carry out very improtant changes like those listed above and the local economy will improve dramatically.
The British left us with this old system which they don't use any more. We need to act now or keep quiet and stay in our misery with our visionless leaders.

So what these evil men are claiming to be a scandal by the President taking a picture after an an interview with CNN sounds to me as the utterances of someone who has lost his brain.
These evil persons are ignorant in many areas. They are ignorant about the benefits that will come out of the lobbyings the President is doing in the US. They are ignorant about how a country can develop. To them, a President should be too busy to have time to take pictures and if he does, his people will go hungry, sick and school standards will fall. How ridiculous.
CNN is the leading media on this earth and to get associated with it a big advantage for selling one's message accross the globe. It takes little and evil minds not to appreciate this.
