I am at a complete loss as to why the Ghana police have not what so many other countries have done. Establish a community watch of non paid neighborhood volunteers to patrol their areas. When something is spotted that look suspicious or wrong, the police are notified, the watch patrol keeps eye on the culprits until the police take charge. This is a proven method of crime reduction, at no additional cost.
