  A husband and wife were having a fine dining experience at their exclusive country club when this stunning young woman comes over to their table, gives the husband a big kiss, says she'll see him later and walks away.
  His wife glares at him and says, "Who was that?"
  "Oh," replies the husband, "she's my mistress."
  "Well that's the last straw," says the wife. "I've had enough, I want a divorce. I am going to hire the most aggressive, meanest divorce lawyer I can find and make your life miserable."
  "I can understand that," replies her husband, "but remember, if we get a divorce it will mean no more wintering in Key West, or the Caribbean, no more summers in Tuscany, no more Cadillac STS in the garage, and no more country club, and we'll have to sell the 26-room house and move to two smaller homes, but the decision is yours."
  
  Just then, a mutual friend enters the restaurant with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.
  "Who's that with Jim?" asks the wife.
  "That's his mistress," says her husband.
  She replies, "Ours is prettier."

  I don't understand what all these hullabaloo is about. What should FDA do when somebody imports fake drugs into the country? Destroy the drugs and, that's it? No prosecution? Should they resort only to press war when somebody contravenes the law? By the way, thanks to FDA for saving our children from "kokonté" powder and Chalk.

  Dr Opuni should bow down his head in shame and resign because FDA has failed the people of Ghana. How could Tobinco Bliss and GVS Pharmaceuticals import fake drugs into Ghana, clear them from the port and distribute them to hospitals without the knowledge of FDA? The question is who gave the approval for the drugs to be cleared from the ports and who authorised the distribution of the drugs to hospitals if FDA officials did not connive with them?
  
  If Dr Opuni claims these actions were criminal, has anyone been arrested and charged for the crime? Instead, are the two companies not suing FDA? The next story would be judgement debts paid by FDA to the two companies for destroying their drugs. That is Ghana's create, loot and share enterprise.

  all about deception as they play the role of the savior .. I promise u the FDA and the big corporations are not here to help anyone but themselves.. they want to kill the compition as they pose as the saviors.. end of story!!

  I THINK IN THE ISSUE OF NON-PAYMENT, IT IS NOT A MATTER OF 600 OR 250 NURSES BUT A MATTER OF PAYING THEM TO RELIEVE THEIR BURDEN.

  Dr Opuni is a known anti pharmacist.Everybody in the pharmaceutical sector knows . His job is to assist companies bring in effective medicines. He rather puts so many impediments in their way that they are forced to bring the goods to the ports whilst applications wait for years. Gsunate has been in the country aloong time ago.Since when did he get to know that the had been no clinical trials?I had inserted ths suppository in the rectum of my sick child. I am lucky he did not die. He has failed. A pharmacist who will work side by side with stakeholders to bring in or manufacture safe drugs in Gh should be appointed instead of a known antagonist of the pharmaceutical sector.

  Well meaning Ghanaians and right thinking Ghanaians are requesting that, the CEO of the FDA, steps aside for the necessary investigations to be conducted to ascertain, how the medicines got into the country in the first place. The negligence and outright corruption beggars the issue, because it cannot be the case that, the medicines could have got into the country, without the attention of the FDA.
  The petition from the Ghanaian pharmacist in the UK, is obliging the President to institute an inquiry to get to the bottom of how, the medicines got into the country in the first place.
  We are calling on the President to ask the CEO of the FDA, to step aside for the necessary investigations to be conducted, since, the office of the CEO of the FDA, is implicitly implicated and in order to unravel the rot, there's the need for the CEO to step aside, for the process to go on uninhibited. The rot, negligence, malfeasance and outright corruption, that has led to a situation where Ghanaians have effectively been turned into guinea pigs fall squarely at the feet on the CEO of the FDA, and he needs to be interdicted, in furtherance of accountability and transparent governance, for the necessary investigations to be conducted.
