Accra will continue to be dark unless we revise policies concerning streetlights. Firstly streetlights are managed by metropolitan, district and municipal assemblies which I think is wrong. Secondly the streetlight levy has been set at GHC0.005 per month since 1995.
With these issues how do we expect streetlights to be everywhere?

We always complain of anything water and electricity but we don't do same with communication because we think water and electricity should be cheap. if you think its cheap to produce electricity then buy and run your own gene ... read full comment
