I am not all that against the stance the law makers have taken. Ghana will have problem with them if they accept dirty money from white American homosexuals to pass any satanic homosexual rights in Ghana. John Mahama can not be trusted in this respect. But I know most of Parliamentarians are Christians and some are Muslims, who do not accept homosexuality. So, I count on our law makers to slap Obama's face if he tries to sneak into Ghana his satanic homosexual agenda.

MPs think they are role models by virtue of their titles and positions in society.
But their conduct and behaviour are contrary to role modelling. They think they can make laws to fight aids and prevent diseases yet they will not taste the same medicines they are prescribing. Is this what role modelling is about?
About 95% of these so-called MPs or leaders don't know what they are doing except having won their elections (some fraudulently) and drawing their salaries and living lavishly at the expense of the state.
Their reason for their unwillingness to test for AIDS is what the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION BILL THEY ARE YET TO PASS IS ABOUT?
The bill is supposed to give guidelines to manage information effectively and legally in terms of collection, storage, access and dissemination. If these dimwit MPs really understand the import of this Bill the will rather streamline the control elements in this bill rather than be scared of their information being mismanaged. This is the level of reasoning (do they even reason) and thinking about this so-called "honourables" whose performance and daily behaviour in society are rather DISHONOURABLE AND DISPICABLE LET ALONE AS ROLE MODELS.

It is laudable for the Okyehene to get tested in front of the public, a great public figure, an educator, inspirational and transformational. I hope many follow his lead. I believe in transparency but when it comes to ones health and the subject of confidentiality in the case of HIV Aids, the person has the right to be selective on who they want to confide in. My suggestion, close relatives, partners, ex-partners, just because we as the public have to protect ourselves from this deadly disease.

Knowing how people generally behave in the Country and the wrong value of things ideology that we have; a Society that is not advanced enough to handle privacy.How do the MPs reconciles what they think in this AIDS case with the "Right To Information Bill" which they are itching to pass.
So my suggestions on the legislation is that the "Rright To Information Bill should be on Government Accountability and Transparency and Public Office Holders as a first step and later amended to include other things,if any.

The best demonstration of their seriousness towards tackling STDs such as HIV/AIDS is to demonstrate publicly including testing for the disease themselves. It is as simple as that, and the MPs should be ashamed of themselves!

Can't control their peewee peters when faced with the sights of all these young and honey chicks. To be honest and to the point, most will test POSITIVE. That's why they're scared.
