Jake must step down for a Unifier (one who will appeal to all "factions" and the electorate will be a welcome move for the NPP.

For example how can anybody trust Sir John that he will allow any body other than Nana to contest the presidential slot. Maybe they should both go and test their real popularity in their constituencies as parliamentary candidates. It will be nice to see them in parliament.

If Asabee wants the process of elections in the party changed, he must appeal to the party's constitution drafters; rather than come out and open his big mouth unnecessarily. Ideally, his suggestion may have some sense, but he always speaks at the wrong times. He should have mooted this idea when he was a cabinet member. His own foolishness contributted to the NPP losing the 2008 elections - his constituency members did not want him to stand again, but he bulldozed his way through, leading to the party losing that seat.
Asabee has always been an opportunist! By the way, what happened to the contract he awarded his own sister-in-law? A man of high integrity would not have been that stupid!

Personally I think Akuffo Addo should not run, but even if he does, he breaks no law and his presence should not intimidate the electorate if they do not want him
