Even most students will be happy to have attended a university named after Rawlings.

Well, both the yes and the no's are right.Suffice to say every statesman has done something that deserves recognition and intended award. But the truth is others have stood out and Rawlings is no exception. Considering his background, time and resources this kind of award is long overdue. If we shell off ourselves of all our political leanings we can as Ghanaians appreciate the good dreams of this man as far as education is concern. The man had a great vision for education at all levels and non of our contemporary leaders except for Nkrumah could match him given similar resources. Like an avid businessman, he coordinated his vision well with the location-a mark of great marksmanship. Location!location!!...Thank you Jerry.
