Foolish talk! I am from koforidua New Juabeng and I can tell you for a fact that the people of new juabeng did not settle there as a result of fleeing from the Asantehene. The new juabeng people are Asante warriors who chased the akyems and other tribes in battle all the way the their present location. After the battle was over, they decided to settle there and sworn allegiance to the Otumfour Nana Asantehene. Even this Oti Boateng who is facing distoolement was imposed on the people of New Juabeng by the Asantehene.

I have personally heard from Juabeng traditional leaders how this Oti Boateng does not reflect the culture and ideals of the New Juabeng people. I heard that Oti Boateng does not even lead the elders or go with them to the Obuo Tabiri mountains to performs customs and libations and sacrifices for the gods of the land as he is supposed to.

I think this Oti Boateng deserved to be distooled because after all he does not enjoy and real support from both the elders and the people of New Juabeng.

Neither the sociology professors nor the house of chiefs can stop the people of new juabeng from distooling oti boating and enstooling a befitting real chief for the people of New Juabeng!

SO HERE IS THE CONCLUSION:

OTI BOATENG MUST BE DECLARED PERSONA NON-GRATA IN KOFORIDUA AND ALL PARTS OF NEW JUABENG!!!

WHEN OTI BOATENG DARES TO ENTER ANY PART OF NEW JUABENG OR KOFORIDUA OR EVEN THE PALACE, HE MUST BE SEIZED BY THE PEOPLE, HIS CLOTHE STRIPPED, AND HIS SANDALS REMOVED. THEN ONE OF HIS REMOVED SANDALS SHOULD BE USED TO HIT HIS HEAD THREE TIMES!!! THIS WILL INSTANTLY SIGNIFY THAT HE IS REMOVED FROM THE STOOL.

Your method of distoolment was too funny. In these modern days, it takes more than that to get rid of a chief. The Subchiefs must petition the E/R House of Chiefs with their charges, the House will then present the charges to the Judicial committee of the House to look into the case. As a matter of fact, those SubChiefs must retain an attorney to represent them. Distooling a chief, especially an omanhene isn't that simple.

Daasebre Oti Boateng was born and bred in Ashanti so is the queen mother so what is the sense in your writing.We are Ashantis and owe allegiance to the King, don't bring your division in Juaben that is what you people are good at and you can never take away we being Ashantis. My two grandfathers one is from Mampongteng and the other from Kumawu but both my grandmothers come from Juaben and settled at New Juaben. We are still under the Golden Stool.

He probably bought the throne, or that clan lacks capable men.The ten chiefs should be dragged to the Regional house of chiefs or to Otumfuo Osei Tutu's palace for discipline action. If they had allowed NANA TOPEN to have been enthroned,that could have triggered no problems,the NEW JUABENG CHIEFTANCY IS NOW ENCOUNTERING.
LET'S ALL PRAY,THAT THE MISTY DUST WILL SETTLE SOON,THAT PEACE AND TRANQUILLITY MIGHT REIGN.
I blame NANA OTUO SEREBOUR(Old Juabeng Chief),NANA SARPONG KUMANKUMA,THE ELDER OKO YAW etc,for all these pandemonium and confusion.
They have sown the seed of contention,between NANA TOPEN,the rightful/legitimate heir to the throne,and NANA OTI BOATENG,the supposed reigning chief.
Now,what are they saying about the unnecessary confusion they have created in the NEW JUABENG CHIEFTANCY.
Some people create unnecessary problems for others to bear.
The brotherly love,that was there from time immemorial,between the mothers of both the late,NANA KWEKU BOATENG and that of NANA OTI BOATENG/NANA OTUO SEREBOUR,is gone forever.

If he is, then he is also the rightful person to the stool so what is the problem? The only problem I think is he is not the out going type of person like the late Nana Kwaku Boateng, but everybody is different in this world, even twins don't have the same mind so why don't you live him alone? After all nobody is going to the chief's palace for food? So why all these noise making.My advise to Juaben Adu Poku is advice your friend to forget about this chieftancy matter and find something profitable to earn a living and to spare us the peace in the town.How old is he now? If he didn't get it during his youthful time what is going to change now with an advanced age.This chief has the backing of the regional house of chiefs and national so you are fighting a loosing battle so why don't you forget about it.This chief look's good and youthful he is not going any where so if you can't beat him you join him he's been there for over 20yrs.What are you waiting for join him k3k3 for peace to prevail.

One chief said he doesn't want to die like Oheneba Kwame Kyeretwie.Oh! I just heard it through the grape vine that the late chief wanted to revolt against Otumfuor the the method of elimination was applied on him. Yeap! Do them before they do you.

When the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was paying his last respects to the Apagyahene, he burst into tears.

Otumfuo arrived at the funeral grounds in a palanquin around 2:30pm amid the firing of musketry and chants from the charged crowd. The King initially tried to contain his anguish but he later lost control and burst into tears.

The Asante Monarch was seen murmuring some words("pleading for forgiveness or cursing the dead chief") as he looked at the body of the late Oheneba Kwame Kyeretwie which was nicely dressed and laid on a plush golden bed at the Apagyafie.

The Asantehene’s cry forced former President Kufuor, Dr Addo Kufuor, Napo and all other family members standing behind the corpse to also shed tears.

Otumfuo, who was surrounded by the royal guards, followed his wailing with a traditional dance and he was joined by ex-President Kufuor, as the crowd urged the two leading personalities on.

In the course of the dancing, the Asantehene again danced towards where the late chief was laid to shed more tears.

Otumfuo then moved on to shake hands with some selected people present including Nana Akufo Addo, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku and Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto before he sat in state.

Conclusion: So you and I know now why the Ashanti chiefs are scared of the monster and the greedy king.
