Ghana will continue to atrophy economically until we reduce the government 74% wage bill on workers from government revenue. No business in this world can survive if it spends 74% of its revenue for workers pay alone.

A good example of how bad things are in Ghana. The workers at Forestry Research department salaries totalled more than 3 million dollars whilst only 33,000 dollars is allocated for research. How dumb can this administration be if the above example prevails in other departments in the ministries. Mahama is just promising what he can't deliver.

Ghanaian are not asking for more than a just and fair state. We measure the government by its actions not just words and although this is a good first step, the process needs to be transparent and all those found to have been corrupt and / or caused the State losses must be held accountable and the law take its cause.

I also hope that this matter will not drag on in the courts wasting tax payers' money and not moving forward quickly enough.

What we need is integrity, honesty and efficiency in public life and public service.

All those who fall short do not deserve to be in such positions and must be made to account for their stewardship irrespective of party, position, station or name.
