We have seen it a zillion times. RAWLINGS AWARD WAS FOR SELFLESSNESS AND FOR-SIGHT IN SETTING UP THE UNIVERSITY WHICH AWARDED HIM THE DEGREE. WHAT ABOUT KUFFOUR? THE NORMAL BOOTLICKING DEGREES.

In any case, Rawlings has many doctorates from many universities, including the prestigious Lincoln. If u want, we can compare.

Kufuor's honorary degree from Edinburgh, Scotland is not the same as the Tamale-derived honorary PhD degree for Rawlings.

I know for sure with the honorary DLitt degree, Kufuor is not going to call himself "Dr. J.A. Kufuor". He could have proceeded to earn a PhD degree from Oxford University after his Masters degree.

Now, it is our 'medallion man' being honoured for selling our state assets like Ghana Telecom to a UK mobile phone company, Ghana Airways and Ghana International Airlines and negotiating our oil deal on behalf of our entire nation, for less than 11% and his cronies EO Group 1% of our oil sales. It doesn't surprise me at all with K4's honours.

You are certainly loved and honoured abroad if you orchestrate the sale of your nation's rich natural resources on the cheap, to your slave masters.
He is not being honoured for being any good to his nation but, for making riches for his slave masters. Period!

I wonder why they do not write in Twi. Why they are living outside Ghana, where twi is spoken. Somalia speaks one common language, no development, it is a pariah. Meanwhile, Switzerland speaks three langauages (German, French and Italian),but topping in development. So, it is not a question of making twi ghanaian language. But because of the twi culture (akan attitudes), Ghana is NOT developing. How developed is ashanti region (twi regions) than other regions. It is all about big funerals, raping in forest and kokoase, ritual murders, pigmy behaviour,insults,biggotery, witchcraft, greed. Ashantis claim they are from HOLEs. They should find out who (which tribes) impregnated theirs mothers before they gain any human height. They should re-enter their black ant holes and leave the rest of Ghana in peace. Ahoofe and Adofo should also find out how the ashantis got the "sika agua kofi" stool. They should also find out what Governor Hudgson wrote about the ashantis. Empty people
