Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. However, the hearing could not proceed because the state attorney was not available, prompting Osafo Boabeng, counsel for Woyome, to pray the court for an adjournment.

The trial judge consequently adjourned the case to October 29, 2013.

A few minutes after counsel for the accused person left, Mathew Amponsah, Principal State Attorney in the case, was seen rushing upstairs to the courtroom by which time Woyome was also on his way out.

I woke up to read that the oil EXPLORATION has also claimed its 15th casualty, ref: 15th whale washed ashore in Sekondi- Ghana. This reminds me of my presentation on oil production in Niger delta in my first year at graduate school that draw sobbing from compassionate course mates. The black gold curse began when the demi-god diverted funds meant for oil exploration to plant pawpaw in valley farms. The rest is history; we have lost over 80% of potential revenue running into billions of dollars to foreign firms all because of one man’s arrogant, greed, and criminality.
If whales are dying, what is happening to salmons, tunas, and their likes? In the case of Niger delta, the oil production has fetch billions of dollars to corrupt politician with nothing to show. The lands are polluted; the sea that used to be a source of livelihood, protein, and for recreation is long gone. The sea is barren, the fishing trade which used to be their main occupation to provide livelihood and cater for their kids is no longer viable, and the region is one of the most polluted areas in the world. Common catch to feed house hold is non-existing; studies have shown that the area is far worse today than 50 years ago before the oil discovery.
In case of Ghana, the oil curse began the day they let these criminal minded NDC back to power. These criminally minded politicians have taken advantage of the ethnic polarization to impose political will of the country's minorities on the conscientious, inventive and well-meaning majority. The man who abandoned oil exploration to grow pawpaw is back to the very business he opts out to plant pawpaw. Ghanaians are the most pitied of all nations around the world, our ignorant society looks on while their future is being looted away. It appears the tribe and religion of those who impoverished them, matters more than their pitied state.
With whales dying, the seas will be barren in no time; there will be no changes to the fortune of the towns around the oil discovery. The fishing trade that has sustain them since the time of ''Lucy''(erectus homo sapiens) will be a thing of the past. In a state of destitution, I foresee chaos, anarchy in the Western-Region. The money that could be used to develop towns and create an alternative livelihood is flying as guinea fowls to Burkina. But to the youth I say, suicide is not the answer, we can fight for our right.
It took one man in Tunisia to change the political cause, next time you face the option of succumbing to the bitter realities of life, chose hope for there is hope as long as we unite against this evil regime.

Those who should be charged with causing financial loss tio the state should be those in the Attorney Generals office including Betty Mould Iddrisu who flouted the earlier court order and paid all the monies to Woyome. May be it's only the charge of defrauding by false pretences that may be upheld against Woyome, even there if he proves that he presented the facts as known to him and it was upto the personnel at the AG to either approve or reject, then he could be free on this also.

I have no doubt that the due process will catch up with Woyome and other crooks. Our leaders failed us and Mahama is proving otherwise. however, time will tell. Else, we could not have this investigation if the late Mills was in Power.

It is widely believed that deliberate absence of Counsels from Court is so to allow the Court dismiss the case.

We are aware of how many high-profile cases have been similarly sabotaged by State Attorneys with various interests in the cases, ranging from partisanship to suspected bribery.

The Ya-Na case is typical. Evidential documents were said to have been misplaced and that led to technical acquittal of the accused. Many more such cases occurred on the late President Mills' watch. We have not forgotten the CEPS cases, both at Tema Port and the border with the Ivory Coast on Cocoa smuggling.

NDC was the target of ridicule as losing record number of Government cases, ostensibly from poor prosecutorial performance. If you asked me, I would say much of that abysmal performance was tactically deliberate.
